Do not confuse this with any other Il Mulino Restaurant. This is I think the original and undoubtedly the best. This is like eating in the old world Italy. Great service and superb food in a true Italian ambience. I have eaten here many times when in New York and always look forward to the experience. A great place to dine.

Il Mulino sets a ridiculously high standard in fine dining. We have been guests for nearly 3 decades. Each time visit seems to surpass the last. Claudio, Louis and the entire team strive and succeed in making you feel like family! The food quality is top notch! The service is 6 stars! Treat yourself and your guests to a new level of gastronomic splendor! You owe it to your taste buds! God Bless Blue & Gold! God Bless America!

What a great and inviting Italian restaurant! Food was great, ambience appropriate and service couldn’t have been any better. Gladly and enthusiastically recommend this place for an authentic Italian dinner, and please allow them to recommend you what to have for dinner, we did so and had an incredible meal!

Dear Lord, there is no better Italian restaurant than this place. From the moment you sit down, you are treated like royalty. Served fresh chunks of Parmesan, fresh tomatoes, and zucchini. Then the bread… Something like a bruschetta on its side to a cheese bread where the bread is both soft and hard, salty and spicy, and thin.

Came here to celebrate a birthday and everything about our experience was worth it. We got seated right away at our times reservation. Starters came almost immediately (they serve a selection of bread and other small bites like tomato bruschetta) – we didn’t order these appetizers they just come with every table!

Great Italian old school spot. Cozy but we had a big group and it was still fun. Waiting staff was accommodating and brought out many free appetizers.

Went here years ago and I remember it being much better. Food is good but not great; however the decor is EXTREMELY DATED. Bruschetta is nice. Octopus appetizer salad was good (a little undercooked) as was the bacon wrapped scallop appetizer (not over cooked). Pasta bolognese was very good. Double cut grilled veal chop was good (sage was nice) but needed more seasoning.

Amazing experience overall, loved how patient the staff were, and the food, oh the food was incredible. The pasta was truly al dente, and the seafood was fresh. The part that stood out to me was the fact that I dislike tomatoes. I throughly enjoyed eating them here, it’s weird but my dislike for tomatoes is up there! I’d recommend to anyone who wants to have a special night out with some incredible food, and great service to go with it. I’m already looking for an occasion as an excuse to go back!

I really don’t think they could do anything at all to improve. The food is outstanding and the service is unmatched. I’ve been here 4 times & every single time the experience & service did not waiver. I find It actually shocking that they ever have reservations available. It is truly the best. The price tag is a bit spendy, but worth it for the experience.

Absolutely over priced and definitely not worth it at all. 50$ for a chicken Parm with no pasta included and It was burnt on the bottom, barely ate half. They should be ashamed to charge what they do . Especially when my plate was a piece of 5$ chicken pounded out paper thin to fill the plate and again it was burnt so yeah never again. Could make better at home or get better from a local pizzeria. Also the place was way too dark and crowded. Also all these people claiming an authentic Italian experience are full of it ,not an Italian in the place lol. Absolute let down and the bill for 3 people was almost 300$ for mid food.
