Seated right away at 7 on a Friday night. Points for that. Our waitress was good and checked on us frequently. So no complaints of the service on this night. The food was just ok on the whole. The steak was cooked correctly as medium. But obviously, since we’re not serving prime or even choice meat here, it could use some rub. The loaded potatoes probably had the most flavor of anything on the table outside of the rolls. I wish there was another scoop of those as the portion was a little small in my opinion. The house salad was just low quality iceberg with lots of cheese and one crouton. Like what is that? I definitely encourage skipping this option. The club was pretty good and serviceable as a backup to an ‘ok’ steak. Also note the 2 strips and a small portion of fries for the kids meal. It was ok for our kids but older kids may need to get something more. Overall good, but not great. We would return, but more than likely for a sandwich and fries.

The Sirloin Tips, Smashed Potatoes, and Mac & Cheese were delicious! The server was awesome. My brother in law and his family were in town & wanted Colton’s. So a table for seven wasn’t a problem and we enjoyed our time there.

The Hawaiian rib eye steak was average, it was cooked okay but the cut of meat was just a rib eye with a canned piece of pineapple on top. The Caesar salad was a nice size portion but the ceased dressing was a different style then I’m accustom too. The sweet potato was probably the best item I ordered. Service was good but a bit pricey for the quality of the meal.

There were 6 of us family members dining at Colton’s on a Friday evening, arriving around 6:00 PM. The place was very crowded, but considering the day, and time of day we were there, we were not surprised. But we were surprised how quickly we were seated at a table for 6, having to wait probably no longer than 10 minutes or so. Also, all of our meals were served within a very reasonable time. Together but eaten separately among the 6 of us, we had country fried steak, sirloin steak, salmon, hamburger, cheese steak sandwich, chicken tenders, and sides of bake potatoes, salads, vegetables, etc. All of our meals were fantastic. The only negative aspect for us, was that it was very noisy, but considering how many people were there, we were not surprised. Overall, we were very satisfied with our dining experience at Colton’s, and will be going back.

Outstanding meal with great casual atmosphere. Extensive menu and large portions. Just pace yourself with the peanuts and yeast rolls! Visiting from FL on business. Wish we had a Colton’s there!

I must say not all Colton’s are created equally. My husband and I usually dine at the Colton’s in Searcy and we have never had a bad meal there the steak is always cooked perfectly and so tinder. The absolute best steak I have ever had and we tried a ton of steak restaurants.

We took some out of town relatives to eat. My husband is a disabled veteran and has a service dog. The young waitress we had was extremely attentive to my husband and his dogs needs. She asked if the service dog needed water. He said yes but just in a styrofoam bowl. They brought her a ceramic bowl! She was treated like a Queen and he a King. The service was excellent. However, halfway through our meal they seated a group of about 20 in the area we were in. They were celebrating a college graduate from UAPB. They had to respect for anyone else in the room. They were loud and intrusive. One woman had a camera with a flash and it lit up the room! His service dog became agitated as did my husband. The food was decent but I wish people would have respect for others while dining or in any situation for that matter. We had to end up leaving without finishing our meal due to the atmosphere after they came in. Please respect others. When someone is using a service dog you should automatically know there is a problem somewhere. What if he had lost it on them which was very possible. Be respectful. Hope one of them reads this.
