We started as a family business that first opened our doors in 2003. Calling ourselves just Yama at the time, we only had four tables, truly just a hole in the wall. Through an arduous process of many trials and errors, Andy Chen was able to perfect the now YamaChen menu that we know today. Each day, for our customers, Andy Chen brainstormed ways to improve the quality of our food, from our in-house sauce to our fish providers, creating the signature YamaChen rolls that solidify our place in the restaurant sphere. He believes his success is due to his motto: Freshness, Sincerity, and Generosity.

I can’t wait to come back! Food was phenomenal & atmosphere, even better. Gorgeous place on the eyes. Service was very attentive & friendly. Gave us complimentary edamame & strawberry & chocolate Cheesecake bites at the end! Happy guests here. Lol. We had Earthquake roll & Chicken ramen, & fried shrimp dumplings (Shumei).

This place is a must. We ordered a Sushi Boat and it was great, from the looks to the flavor everything was outstanding. The decor of the place is beautiful. The staff was also superb, very courteous and attentive. It was my wife’s birthday and they even had a nice gesture that went a long way with us, they made our dinning exp above and beyond. If I could add more stars, I would.

This place is beautiful inside and super clean. Don’t let the sushi part of the name scare you off they have other dishes available to try. Their rolls are so nicely design. We stop by for lunch and we will be back for dinner. Looks like they get a lot of take out orders.

Tasty Japanese food and wonderful service at great prices. I only ordered fire chicken and beer but the rest of my group of 16 ordered a variety of sushi, sashimi, ramen, shrimp tempura, and more. Everyone was satisfied.
