So glad we found this vegan friendly food spot. People there were very kind and helpful. We ordered their BLT with a side and two green smoothies and nuggets for the kids. The smoothies are super refreshing and the sandwich was tasty. There’s a nice selection of vegan snacks too. There’s a small place to seat outside and a few seats indoor. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for some healthy eats.

We were traveling from Pittsburgh to Detroit and googled vegan restaurants in Youngstown…….found Ely’s and called to ask a few questions about their restaurant. The phone rang and rang so I hung up thinking they were closed. About 7 minutes later I got a call from an Ohio cellular number and lo and behold it was the restaurant calling back to say she was on the other line taking a large order and apologized for not being able to pick up my call. Who does that (calls back to say sorry I missed your call)? They are a totally vegan cafe with AMAZING food that changes daily! We ordered a house salad, spring roll, gyro, nugget bites w/dipping sauce and white bean soup and it was ALL so delicious and fresh! A young energetic couple owns and runs it……..make sure you take the time to go visit and enjoy their vegan menu!

I loved our visit today! I don’t know how they got the BLT+avo sammies to actually taste like real bacon BLTs, but they did. SOOO good! Prices were reasonable, except for the drinks. So I’ll just take it hime and drink water. LOL But will be back again!

Why the drastic change in spring rolls? For $8, I would like something besides rice noodles wrapped in rice paper! One piece of cucumber and one piece of vegan chicken. So disappointed that you did not keep the original owner’s recipe.

picked up lunch for me and my husband who was getting infused at the nearby Hope Center. Excellent food Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I follow a gluten and dairy-free diet and it’s a pleasure to go somewhere where the staff understands and accommodation is their jam! Wish there was one closer to where we live.
