This experience is far than amazing the dining and entertainment. I love it. Nooo better movie theater since CINEBISTRO. THIS SPOT IS TOPNOTCH!! CLEAN ATMOSPHERE. GREATED WHEN TOU FIRST ENTER. Memory killer. Used to have an abundance of choices on a ten page menu. Now it’s more of an overpriced crab house. First, we seated ourselves, which was ok. Then 10 minutes before someone even greeted us. Another 5 minutes to get us menus and drinks. With it being Good Friday, I asked for crabcakes. Waitress then informed us that on top of the $36.99, there was a $5.00 seafood surcharge. So it was cheaper for crabs. 6 small crabs, bowl of soup, and hush puppies around $35.00. Crab soup was good but really had to work for the crab meat and no one in sight to get a knife.

Great family gathering place, menu accommodates everyone palettes I believe it had a few vegan items as well. They could upgrade the cups, the one I received was so old from being dishwasher so much looked awful the rim was distressed made the cup look dirty. So I just asked for a to go cup instead. But over all Great!

I cannot Praise The Pikes enough! We had A last minute party of many people and they were able to somehow get us in without A problem last minute. The service was great and food was amazing as always. Can’t thank you and your staff for such wonderful service and accommodating such A large party when we were in A pinch. Top notch customer service. And prices!!

Our first time visiting here for family dinner. The 6-year-old thought the life size mannequins were “creepy” (there’s even one near the restrooms…yikes!). They have an extensive menu which includes breakfast served all day. Service was excellent and the portions were large. 3 of us needed to-go boxes! I also brought home a slice of turtle cheesecake…delish! We’ll be back…

Wow! Was this a surprise! I’m not even from Maryland, but I could tell this building was/is a historical landmark. Once you find your way in, it is a bit of a maze- but who doesn’t love a maze?-you will be greeted by amazing reminders of the yesteryear of film. And I’m not kidding- from the music and the decor. You are transported back to a time when things were simpler, easier, and TASTIER!! Our wonderful server Jessica has a smile that rivals the sun! In fact- all the servers were kind and attentive even if you were not assigned as their table. So, where to start- ok, the coleslaw. There are different types of coleslaw- the mayonnaisey type and the vinegar type. Some a bit sweeter than others. Pikes’ takes their slaw to a whole new level- fresh chopped purple and white cabbage and RAISINS!! I am a coleslaw gal and this is one of the best I’ve ever tasted! The hubby loves his blue crab. I have never had soft-shell crab. And there they were, right on the menu. I so enjoyed our experience there- the crab is OUTSTANDING!!! We ordered a dozen blue crabs- but we got one or two or five more LOL! Our food server, Jessica, recommended that the soft-shell crab be fried instead of sauteed. She was right! If you love crab and are lucky enough to be in Pikesville, Maryland, Pikes Cinema Bar and Grill is a must- and ask for Jessica, fantastic server!
