Location looked very promising… the interior was less than expectations. Folks were nice and provided basic level information on food options. Good selection of sides to go with their pork, brisket, & ribs. They offer ham and smoked turkey to go as a side option. Hosts a small dining area.

I’ve lived around here all of my life and I cant believe I have never eaten here! I stopped in here today and got a BBQ sandwich with white slaw and eastern nc sauce…..omg!! This is some delicious BBQ!! And the vinegar sauce is SO good! I’m going to go back and get a bulk order. So close and I had no idea!!And…Mike Pence has been here! If it’s good enough for the VP…its def good enough for me!

I didn’t eat there but I purchased a smoked turkey for Thanksgiving. They also have smoked hams. It was a special treat for my parents. The turkey was very good. Even family that didn’t care for turkey enjoyed the smoked flavor. The gentleman made sure I had instructions on preparing the turkey which was much easier than I imagined

Sometimes the turkey leg is juicy and delectable, sometimes it is dried out. The sides are decent and all come in styrofoam. It’s not cheap, but what is these days? On the whole this is a great place to stop for authentic cuisine on your way to the beach. Decent outdoor seating, clean restrooms, backyard chickens to feed.

The pulled pork was perfectly cooked. The Mac and Cheese was awesome. The banana pudding is out of this world awesome. The staff is very friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make sure the customer is happy. Highly recommend this place.

The bbq from the restaurant is good, however the smoked turkey you can buy for Thanksgiving/Christmas is the best you will ever eat! I’ve been eating this turkey at holidays for the past 20 years! I will always continue to purchase this as long as they keep selling it!
