I NEVER easily leave 5 star reviews! In this case I would leave a 10!!!!! My steak was cooked to perfection….the plate looked perfect and was the perfect and unique concoction of deliciousness. Jennifer was an amazing and sweet server!!! Best experience eating out in very long time with everything including the view, the service and the food!!! Thank you Kerville 5D Steakhouse!!❤️❤️❤️

Valentine’s Day 2023! First time at this restaurant. It was an okay experience. It is a large place, spacious, two different dining rooms split between a big bar. My husband’s hamburger steak tasted like it had been cooked the day prior. My shrimp tacos were pretty good. I guess I would go back to try something different to eat. The best thing about the evening was the drink.

The decor is very hill country excellence , with many wild gasme species mounts, excellence. I was dying for a chicken fried steak and was amazed by the shear size of that thing. Top notch food. Next time I’m there I’ll try a steak, maybe, the corn on the kobb was fire grilled and amazing.

My wife brought me to the 5D Steakhouse for my birthday and it was excellent. Been wanting to go since it opened last November. The 16 oz Ribeye steak was absolutely delicious. My wife wasn’t as happy with her Chicken Fried steak. She said it was good but didn’t care for the breading. The Fried Mushrooms were very good also. Our waitress Madison was very good and a joy to have. We’re going to be going back.

We went Friday evening. Arrived 5:20, seared by 5:30, placed our order 5:45. Sierra was a great hostess, all smiles and checked on us frequently. Got our appetizer and drinks by 5:52. Then our meals arrived at 6:35. We had 8oz sirloin medium rare. Juicy. Baked potato was loaded and soaked in flavor. Veggies were awesome. Chicken fried chicken was great too. Onion rings and mash potatoes were great. Well worth it!!!

July 5, 2023: Our second time here and unfortunately a different experience. Ordered th 16 oz ribeye medium rare and it arrived medium. Waitress kindly offered to have it redone but I was with a family of 5 and wasnt keen on having separately timed meals. Wife ordered her sirloin medium and it arrived medium rare.

This location opened today, Nov. 1, and we were first in line for lunch. The interior is cheery, well-spaced tables, tasteful western touches and has booths as well as tables. The menu is not extensive but just enough to satisfy meat and seafood diners, and they do offer a special each day. The wine list is all from Texas wineries. The waitstaff were welcoming and helpful. Jessica waited on us and did an exceptional job, Complimentary warm cornbread is a great starter to the meal. Fun cocktail menu.

Ordered a steak med rare and got a medium done. Husband ordered a medium steak, and he got a well done steak. The crawfish hollandaise sauce was fishy. More than normal fishy. Garlic mashed potatoes were the best, and the asparagus were amazing. Great service with friendly staff.

Ordered their featured appetizer Jalapeño Quail Poppers. My description…lackluster…very dry quail…tasteless jalapenos. House salad was unappealing with its droopiness. Crab stuffed flounder was very tasty with its Hollandaise sauce. Ranch waters were well made. New restaurant to Kerrville. Tried it….doubtful to return.

I am very disappointed, I was excited to have another restaurant in kerrville! I’ve been there twice first time was a couple of weeks after opening. Service was awful. We had 5 people in our party and after 30 min waiting 1 person got his food. Then 20 min later the waitress looks over and realized the rest of us had no food. No refills, waitress was gone.
