Easily my favorite sushi restaurant in the area! Koto has delicious, fresh offerings. Their fish is the freshest I’ve tasted in the area, and they go above and beyond with every dish. I actually wish I didn’t love their sushi so much, because the rest of the menu looks just as delightful, but I can’t stop myself from ordering sushi every time I go.

The service is wonderful. The staff is extremely attentive! Especially our server, Ryan. We came during lunch and he was very very busy but no one in the room waited plus he has a great sense of humor. Go check him out.The food is so wonderful and fresh. ALL vegetables are fresh and cut daily. Sushi bar looks and smells so fragrant and fresh. The food was seasoned perfect for my taste as well as my buddy’s. The entire restaurant has simple yet elegant decor, not to busy. I was a very relaxing atmosphere. The music was really chill, stuff you know, nothing awkward.

My sushi was fresh, tasty, and they have excellent chefs that make large and tight rolls. I think they use low sodium soy sauce for their noodles because they had zero taste but after adding my own it was great. So I guess thats good for people that can’t have sodium but I wish there was an option on how its made. Their Kani salad was about half the size I’m used to for the price but it also wasn’t slathered with mayo so it was still better than a lot of restaurants. The miso was decent but not great. They gifted me with a side order of shrimp in a sauce that was delicious… and I don’t even like shrimp. It’s definitely a huge step up from a lot of the sushi restaurants in the area.

The KOTO Japanese Sushi & Steak House Experience (Call In/ Pickup Edition). I have passed by KOTO several times and always wanted to try their food. So on this day, I reviewed their menu online and called in to place my order. Whomever I spoke with was pleasant, but I must admit I felt a slight language barrier, and it was challenging to place my order.

Fantastic sushi place. I’ve tried mostly every sushi place in the Winston/Clemmons area and this one continues to deliver high quality and fresh sushi every time I’ve been. Great selection of both cooked and raw sushi. Highly recommend the spicy tuna roll, eel roll, and pretty much any specialty roll.

Koto may be my favorite place in Clemmons to eat. The food is incredible, the staff are so friendly, and the dining area is always immaculate. Its hidden inside the Walmart Market shopping center near Clemmons Kitchen so its easy to pass by without much thought. Anyone looking for beautifully plated Sushi or Japanese Cuisine owes it to themselves to try to place soon. The staff are very attentive and kind, the food looks like a work of art, and all of the dishes explode with flavor. I will be a supporter of these guys as long as they stick around.
