Sometimes you find a diamond in the rough and it changes your whole day. I called my visit here the magical mystery tour. The owner, Gabe, will make you feel like family. He talks fast and with no filter. He’s holding down the fort, making great food, and enjoying great music. He’s happy to make you an amazing drink, share some great music, make you some food, and make your experience one you won’t soon forget. Located on the boardwalk, go to your left until you find Paradise.

Walked on to the Pass with five kids, two adults, all hungry and in a grumpy mood. We got dragged in off the boardwalk by the owner with a promise of great food, service and a chance to cool off. Smoothies were delivered quickly without us even asking, they took the edge off the mood and heat. From there own everything was exceptionally delivered. Food was great and the service was what you would expect to have from someone who owns and loves what they do. I couldn’t recommend this more and we have eaten everywhere on the pass. Thanks for being a part of our evening and setting a standard for what can be expected while enjoying an evening on the pass. Oh, and the drinks are equally as good.

Best seafood gumbo ##better than all other nice restaurants. Seafood salad is beautiful with fish, shrimp and octopus.Great homemade food and fresh grill sandwiches & tacos & pulled pork with rice. Such a cute little bar with great Chef cooking amazing dishes with all homemade Recipes. Such a great dinner better than all the nice restaurants nearby cuz they cost more money and takes longer time to wait for table& ur food. Love this place. Our family will come back for that great gumbo and sandwiches.

Gabes gumbo is award winning for sure, some of the best i’ve ever had and I love gumbo! My husband got the seafood gyro he really liked it. Drinks were great. They were really busy but the service was still awesome!

We were looking for good food at good prices and nothing fancy. We searched restaurants with good ratings and this was one. We walked in, and were pleasantly greeted by the lady behind the counter named Connie. She welcomed us and helped us make our decision based on what we wanted. Each of us had the blackened fish tacos – DELISH! She cooked em hot hot n fresh in front of us! And we had a fresh order of hot and crunchy (we requested it like this) French fries which were amazing, and some jalapeño poppers! Our service was so awesome. Connie is awesome! Thank you for making our stay in Madeira a pleasurable by serving up great food and great friendly service!

By far the most friendly owners and personable experience we have had here in Florida! An award worthy white berry sangria and top notch bloody Mary for myself Kid approved chicken tenders and cheesey fries, husband approved steak sandwich and beef tacos. Watched them prepare their super size wings that had my mouth watering. All inside a small scale kitchen and indoor seating area, but also had outdoor seating right along the water at John’s Pass Boardwalk. Perfect stop and glad to highly recommend!

The best gumbo and it’s not up for debate!!!! Wife had the shrimp tacos and I had the steak sandwich and the flavor was just amazing. The Sangria was right on time for the wife!!!! The best part about our visit was the great hospitality given by the owner. Great person and we will definitely be back. Enjoy the Rolling Stones Concert!!!!
