Wonderful Had everything I was craving! Mushroom fries were awesome Fried pickles awesome! Onion rings, fried catfish, BLT, fried shrimp and sweet potato waffle fries, all very good! Everything looked and tasted fresh and made in house. We came for an early dinner and left stuffed and happy!

I was told about the “Tuesday Tenderloin Special” and just had to try it out. Best sandwich I have had since moving here. Large, crispy, hot and very flavorful. Fries were good too and the service was excellent. Very friendly people in the bar, but the next time I will try the other side, as I no longer smoke. I see they also have a patio, but if I sit there it will depend on the amount of smokers. Everybody should have a choice. We will definitely return as my wife loved her dinner of Fish and Chips and enjoyed them as well.

We’ve been here a few times this past year, and the customer service is terrible! It takes them forever to serve your food/ drinks, then when it’s time to check out we stood in front of the two wait staff at the counter, and they didn’t even acknowledge we were there! Nearly 10 minutes later they finally looked at me and I was able to pay out. The prices are really high as well. Don’t mind paying for good food and good service, but when there’s neither it really hurts to pay the $30 tab for a two person lunch. This place has a lot of potential, and somehow stays fairly busy, but I think it’s because there’s nothing else but a small Mexican cafe within a 15 mile area. Just imagine how busy they’d be if they improved their food and service!

I’m sitting in the restaurant watching people walk out because they aren’t getting served. The waiter is so nice but he can’t do it all by himself. He has now had to tell every table they are out of something. For our table it was popcorn shrimp and for our neighbors it was ranch. We’ve been here a full hour and no food on the table. When we arrived there was a single 6 top. What’s going on in the kitchen? Last Friday night it was the same situation.

truly the worst service I’ve had in a while. First off it took forever to be seated, and there were only like 2 other tables so there was no reason to not be seated immediately. Then it took forever to even get our drinks ordered. We went to order and was told they were out of what we wanted. Then we get our food and we’re missing our shrimp that came with our steak. They also claimed to be out of okra, A1, and the grilled shrimp that we ordered with our steak. She asked what side we wanted instead of the okra and we said mashed potatoes. She brings us mashed potatoes that looked like grits. I asked for something besides them and she got really hateful about it. The steak had no flavor whatsoever. Wasn’t medium like we asked. Checked on us one time FROM ACROSS THE ROOM. And SMOKY AS HELL IN THERE. Terrible service and won’t be returning.. don’t mean to be this way but I’m a waitress and I could never get by with treating customers the way this place does.

Still waiting for the smoke smell to dissapate before improving atmosphere rating. Had breakfast this time. Giant, delicious biscuit with a very skimpy ladle of gravy. I don’t want a bowl of gravy, but enough that the 2nd half of the biscuit wouldn’t be dry would’ve been delicious. Our server, based on her comments, was unhappy just being there, openly critical of management, may not have lasted the day. Really want to enjoy eating here as it’s close to home, but with little guarantee it’ll be a good experience, we’ll wait a bit longer. I don’t like writing snarky reviews, but in the event the new owner reads it, maybe things’ll improve.

I’ve been going to the pub for years, I know that they have new owners so I was excited to try it out. The place looks fantastic the service is always excellent. I ordered a reuben and one cheeseburger and one hamburger. Got home and had two hamburgers.. hate to say spending almost 40 bucks and can’t even put cheese on one of my Burgers was kind of disappointing. Want to try them again but if it would be the same outcome I would never go back. It’s great if you’re just going in for the bar.

Was most disappointed in the way employees or whoever they were handled things,, we sat at the bar on the bar side and ordered drinks and munchies the place only had my wife and I at bar , a table of 8 came in , and 2 tables of 2 ,,, then people apparently all sitting at the end of bar were somehow associated with the place because they were all going behind the bar on and off , but only one girl bartending and doing everything else by herself including steadily taking carry out orders on phone , that poor girl couldn’t keep up with taking care of everybody and all the carry out food as well , with all the other associates just sitting down there smoking cigarettes, we never got silverware , napkins, or asked if we would like another drink , she needed help and wasn’t getting it from them ,, hell of a way to run off customers,, seems like there going downhill since the local bar n grill opened down the road, also we have eaten there several times most food pretty good usually, can’t understand why they don’t repair or replace all the ripped up bar stool seats and ripped up booth seating , do they want to close up from apparent na care

This truly is our only local restaurant. Which also explains why we all eat there. The club and fries are always solid. It’s hit or miss with everything else. The service has never been top notch, but it is a small town. You can generally get a soda without a wait. Remembering that patience is a virtue will come in handy here. During the summer, there is always a large fly population. This time of year, it’s overall dark or dim. In the evenings, the smoke smell from the Pub makes it’s way over. No pizza until after 4 and no breakfast after noon. You can however, get a long island at 10am.
