#1…Jamaicans are cooking the food. Not someone from another culture that does not truly understand how the food is supposed to taste. That is first! The kitchen is clean and they are organized and the food came out quickly (within 5-10 minutes). This food is delicious! The portions are massive!!!

I’ve been going to this place for about three years now and I absolutely love it. I always get the large plata with the curry chicken jerk chicken and oxtails with the rice and beans and cabbage on the side and it is. Always the bomb.

First off.. location is ehh.. I would call ahead. I got the large oxtail platter for $20. Medium is $18. My oxtail platter looks good but it definitely is the opposite. Gravy real watery.. taste like nothing. My rice is so mushy it’s like mashed potato in my mouth. oxtails have no seasoning.. I’m just not feeling it. I’ve had better in Baltimore from off York rd. Also lots of small dumb pieces.. no meat.

Food was very tasty and served hot. Only concern was the sharp bone splinters in the curry chicken. Whoever cut the chicken was unskilled. Dangerously sharp big and small pieces. Not recommended for your children or elderly.

Granted I went near closing to only have curry goat available medium start at $19 almost $20 and larges start at $21.20 as a Jamaican I was horrified at my plate not even photo worthy or worth mentioning it look like they dragged the spoon on the bottom of the pot and found all the scraps and put it over my rice I must have come in after they packed up all their plates to go home but the nerve to sell that scantily plated food for that price do me a favor u see this place keep driving turn up MLK and just hit hip hop chicken for the trash I paid for I could have ordered two order of two breast with Western fries 2 $10 Dollar meals absolutely not worth the visit near downtown

I had the curry goat meal (with 2 sides). Was trying to stay away from carbs, so I ordered plantains and cabbage. They gave me a ton of cabbage. You definitely get a good amount of food. Being that it was a side, I was expecting to get more plaintain. The cabbage and goat were a little on the spicy side and it was kind of watery/saucy. My friend loved her collards and curry goat.

I had a large jerk, curry seen in the picture. It was good, very good! But! Not like it used to be. It was worth getting but not to be dying for like once in the past. So I give it 4 stars. However! The customer service was very slow, didn’t remember the orders so I give that a 2 so that’s why I give it 3 stars overall. I’d come back but not to rush back
