The food was amazing and the prices were reasonable for the portions. The lobster corn chowder was so good, I ordered a bowl to go for my lunch the next day. And I’m not usually a corn chowder person. Service was great. My only critiques were the floors could use a better cleaning between customers, there was food all around the table and it’s not like the place was busy at all while we were there. Also, as tasty as the soup was, it should be disclosed beforehand that it’s more expensive than menu price for soup of the day. I fully understand the price, it was made with chunks of real lobster meat. I just wish I knew before the check came.

This place is in the middle of farm country, just minutes away from Lake Huron. After a day at Harbor Beach, we were looking for a great smokehouse restaurant, and this was it. We ordered the bacon wrapped jalapeños (very spicy with seeds still inside). They were excellent. We then shared a platter, which also didn’t disappoint. The pulled pork was extremely tender, the pit beans were awesome (not sweet like baked beans), and the green beans were sauted with grilled onions. We finished with a cannoli, which had extra cinnamon in it, giving it a taste between an Italian cannoli and a Mexican churro. So good! I will definitely come back and will bring others to experience the same great food we enjoyed.

I was here with a good sized group of people and our waitress was very nice . She was very good at remembering who ordered what and making sure we had everything we needed. I had the brisket sandwich and it was so good by itself I kept forgetting to put the sauce on it (which was also very good)

I had the delicious whitefish cakes on greens with remoulade sauce. My friend enjoyed yummy beef cheek tacos. And we shared the tasty churros and vanilla bean ice cream. Great service! We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. We loved it!

We ordered the bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños, pulled pork sandwich, and smoked sausage. Everything tasted very good! The jalapeños cleared out my sinuses! Lol! Will definitely go back! Very nice folks.
