Lunch Special with 2-3 rolls are where it’s at! Soup, salad and choice of two or three cooked or raw rolls from their list. They don’t substitute for rolls, but have a good selection. Service is always fast and efficient. Popular sushi restaurant on the Island.

Ate… or tried to eat lunch today. 2 o clock, we both ordered the lunch special which comes with 2 rolls, a salad and soup. The service we received was lackluster, and no communication whatsoever from our very bored looking server. Soup and salad came out…. boring and bland was the salad and the soup was stale tasting and had the consistency of hot cereal. Salad wasn’t cold, soup wasn’t hot. We ate neither. Sushi comes out and the smell of fish hit me immediately. And not in a good way. The rolls we ordered were made from what looked like minced fish, really smooshy and were not prepared with care at all. Fell apart and they all tasted AWFUL, I mean BAD!!! We both only had a few pieces before deciding we’d rather not have that much food to throw back up so we asked for a check. Waitress asked if we wanted a box, we said no. Never checked on us, never came to refill a coke or beer, and didn’t clear the table of our uneaten items. Sushi and sashimi are supposed to be cold, while our rolls were barely room temp, shoulda known better right then. Wasted 45 dollars on sub par food for a rare lunch date, and now I’m home with stomach cramps,and can’t get the taste of that minced mush they called tuna out of my mouth. NEVER NEVER NEVER GOING BACK. BUT AT LEAST THE 1 BEER I HAD WAS COLD. The absolute worst service and food I have ever experienced.

Amazing food. Sushi is some of the best I’ve ever had. Service is amazing. Friendly staff. Gave customary free clear soup as an entree. Close and cozy atmosphere. Free fried Oreos we’re served after paying which was a really sweet treat. Love this place now!!!! Go here for sushi

My bff and I have been coming for years and I’m vegetarian know but they refuse to substitute the soup for a salad when I PAY for a soup! It’s ridiculous! I’m getting fed up with it.

Ordered the lunch special to go. Was $12.95 because I ordered the combo and scallops cost $1 upcharge. I got 2 scallops and 3 shrimp (which were overcooked)! Very disappointed.

Younger guy at front counter very unpleasant and i ordered my food while he was saying nothing back and seemed annoyed. After i repeated my order because i wanted to make sure he put it in correct due to his obvious lack of caring about being there. This was a larger order and I paid a different price than what was listed in the menu i was looking at. He said 15 minutes food will be ready, which is was but all tied up in a bag so i couldnt look and see it. The order was mostly wrong. $50 wasted. Based on the customer service i was being given, i should have definetely checked the bag but thats my fault. Never will waste my time or money again for this place with bad service and not great food. Much better sushi and japanese options in the area. Did not even bother calling once getting home and seeing everything wrong because it was obvious while there he didnt care. Go somewhere else
