Outstanding! The people and the food are great. We stayed a few nights for North Rim of Black Canyon of the Gunnison and the tiny town offered this place for food. Lucky us! The folks were so kind and friendly like family. It’s a small menu but covers all the bases.

Decent selection of food. I had a burrito with green chili. It was good. As our group of 11 came in, they dropped off a couple of baskets of fries, complements of the house. Indoor and outdoor patio seating. A person who ordered a BLT complained that there was only one strip in his sandwich. Staff was very friendly.

My family and I have never received such rude service before in our lives. Our food arrived after an hour, cold and greasy. When mentioned politely the owner, Tiffany Kessinger got hostile. I would recommend they employ hired management and do not deal with customers themselves as they do not seem to realize that people have a choice in returning to bring them business.

We stayed at the lovely Stone House Inn right across the street, so we ate both dinner and breakfast here. Both were very good – simple but well cooked, friendly staff, very light and open space. Highly recommend for a good home-cooked type meal!!

let me start by saying my wife and I ordered ice water with lemon after ten minute our waters water came with no lemon Really ten minutes for waters to get to the Table WOW! We place our orders at the same time as ordering water basically a simply cheese burger, one with a side salad the other with onion rings. Simple RIGHT! not so I’m 56 years of age and honestly it was the worst burger I’ve ever stomached… Should of went to McDonalds… The burgers only came with a slice of lettuce, if you wanted pickle, onions or tomatoes if was a 1.50 more REALLY! and then to find out the side salad was an extra cost after being listed on the menu said or fries. simply put I can go on and on about was was awful regarding this place it doesn’t even deserve a one star rating !

Unfortunately we have recieved some questionable reviews of late, fortunately most of the issues have stemmed from a disgruntled ex employee. Now that she has been fired the cleanliness and speed of service has drastically improved. We hope going forward we can prove that joes resturaunt is a place worth spending your hard earned income at. Our atmosphere is rustic and you always feel like family here. Its only about 20 minutes from the north rim of the black canyon and one of and dare i say the best place to come for breakfast. We all hope to see familiar and new faces.

You’d think a burger joint would know how to cook burgers. Not here. Charcoal on the outside, dry and tasteless inside. But they were open on the 4th of July, and we were hungry.

Usually decent food and slow service but tonight took an hour and a half to get our food and then it was cold. The waitress was tipsy from too much drink and could hardly keep everything straight. Not a good experience at all!!

The health and safety standards of this place are highly questionable. They have been operating for a month with sewer backing up in the kitchen and the staff is completely clueless about standard sanitation requirements. Enter at your own risk!
