Busy Taco Tuesday. Took less than 5 minutes to be seated. Took a few minutes for drinks and order to be taken. Food served fresh, hot, and to order. I had the grilled chicken with pineapples and mushrooms meal. It was delicious. Service was excellent. They were hustling to take care of everyone enjoying their dinner there. Restaurant and restroom clean.

I’m always looking for another Mexican restaurant. I love the flavors and dishes of Latin America. I had read really good things about Casa Grande and wanted to see how they stacked up in the Mexican restaurant world. I like their salsa; it was very fresh. They have a cheese/bean dip that I like too. I was really excited to see not only fish tacos on the menu, but a variety of fish tacos! I ordered the ones with grilled tilapia, pico de gallo, cilantro and a mango topping that could be added if you wanted. I added the mango topping, and if I hadn’t have done that, I couldn’t have taken the spice. The tacos didn’t have any flavor profile, just heat. They came with a side of rice, also had no flavor at all. I would definitely not order this dish again. My mom ordered the Tacos Carnitas. They weren’t as spicy, but still didn’t have very much flavor. It was my birthday week, so we ordered a flan to share. It was okay but you could tell that it was overwhipped and slightly overbaked. I’ve traveled in Latin America and know what a good flan is. Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed with this restaurant. Maybe it was just a bad day. We might try it again though.

Lots of food. Nice atmosphere. Great prices. Went for lunch. The service was a bit slower that i expected but the food was really good. I got a whopping serving of guac. Our waiter was great..glasses full, always checking. The place is nicely decorated and plays mexican music of course. Several tvs on. Small bar but nice. I recommend you try it. Tucked away to the right side of Kroger. Parking can be tough in that lot.
