Our new favorite for coffee and breakfast! We will be checking out the hotdogs next time we are in town. Hearty breakfast burritos for a very reasonable price, good coffee and quick service. They say “all to go menu” but there are some benches and tables in a patio area if you want to sit and people/dog watch. We ate there 3 times in one weekend. Clean place, quick easy food to grab between Lava adventures.

Gave 3 stars because service was extremely slow (waited 40 minutes) and their specials that were advertised they didn’t have. If you’re going to say the special is a guacamole burger and a turkey bacon sandwich, then make sure you have those ingredients, a lot of it! We were there at 12:15, early enough for the lunch rush and they were already out of avocados and guacamole. So that was disappointing. They only offer chips as a side to go with your burger. I also ordered a flavored soda, itcwas very, very disappointing. It was supposed to have coconut cream in it, there wasn’t. It’s a nice little place and nice to have a change from the other restaurants in town but I left disappointed.

We came here for breakfast this morning. I had a breakfast burrito and my husband had a plain bagel with cream cheese. The burrito is MASSIVE! So yummy. Crunch greasy hash brown patty’s too. Prices are fair. Staff is kind and courteous. Food and coffee was great. Loved their porch and chairs. It was a beautiful day and we got to eat out in the sun.

This place is SO good! My husband and I have come to Lava twice for our wedding anniversary and this was the first time having The Shack and I guarantee it will not be our last. The mushroom and swiss was amazing and so was the hot dog. The fries are golden and crispy and the specialty soda was delicious. The people were really nice and the outside seating was cute and shady. The prices were also very reasonable, it probably costs more to go to Wendy’s or McDonald’s and get a full meal, than it does to have something from here thats high quality and doesnt give me a tummy ache lol. 10/10 totally recommend

Waited 15 minutes to order (being at the window, not waiting in a line), and then waited 30 minutes for a couple hot dogs and a burger. So we waited 45 minutes for what appears as fast food. The staff working was friendly and appeared busy the whole time so I’m not sure what the hold up was but not worth the wait. Seating area also felt crowded, the few tables were all very close together all in close bunches.

Awesome owners and awesome staff with amazing food and drinks! It is outdoor seating, perfect for those warmer days when you just want to be outside! They have a little pavillion, a decent sized grassy area, and a little stage. Highly recommend! Sometimes they have karaoke with some awesome kjs on the weekends too or might have some local artist play on the stage!

I ordered a hot beef and cheddar sandwich on 6/30/23 and whoever made it mixed up the cheese and mustard. There was no cheese on my sandwich (I love cheese, this is why I ordered it). Instead, there was mustard. I hate mustard. Majorly disappointed, ruined it for me.
