Dinner was spectacular. The service, food and atmosphere were all out of this world. We have been here before, and it never disappointed us, but tonight it was extra exceptional. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all that want a great Mexican meal. You will not be disappointed.

We utilized El Sombrero for a memorial service and had a Buffet lunch & afternoon gathering for about 90 people. Cannot say enough about how accommodating the management and staff was in exceeding our expectations. Food was served, hot, delicious, and no complaints from anyone. In fact, we received many compliments on how polite and helpful the servers were as we held our event. I highly recommend El Sombrero for excellent quality, Mexican food, and a nice facility to hold just about any event. Their claims about carrying on the traditions and legacy of Eddie Adames, the founder who is now deceased, is accurate and the restaurant holds true to the standards he previously set.

First time I was here the food was great . I came back after a few years and the food the service was horrible. The waitress was slow and look like she was on something. One of the waiters told me it was under new ownership, some gringo. The fajita came in a pitch black plate that looked like I has never seen water. I took a few bites and I almost vomited, no exaggeration. Smokey burnt pan with soggy veggies and some pathetic looking shrimp. Manager never came out because he was too busy chasing the drunk girls in the corner, again pathetic.

Came here to El Sombrero for a happy hour on a taco Tuesday. I had one shredded chicken, one shredded beef and one pork adobado on soft corn tortillas. They come with pico de gallo , cheese, and lettuce. All three were pretty good, I’d say the chicken and beef were my favorites. Great frozen strawberry margarita, just perfect

We only had a couple drinks, Mexican beer and a margarita!! The chips with salsa are really fresh. If you like very spicy salsa ask for it!, it’s so good and hot the bartender was very friendly and makes you feel welcome!

This place is good for having a near to Mexican experience, they even speak Spanish if you prefer. The prices are not that high compared to other Mexican places and this one serves big portions in every dish. I had a wrap instead of a burrito (which has rice and beans) because I wanted a lighter meal but still wasn’t able to finish it haha The business is inside of a building that looks kinda empty but don’t let that disappoint you! Get inside and have a tortilla soup or a enchiladas dish, you’ll like it.

I had such a wonderful experience with this restaurant and the staff. I had ordered catering for a work function, and they went above and beyond! I had a staff member go pick it up and they put everything in the vehicle . I unpacked the food and it was perfect. They didn’t forget any condiment, and even included rice & beans. The food was wonderful, all the staff members thought so. I will definitely order catering from them again.

Chicken burrito was one of the worst I’ve ever had. Tasted old, no lettuce or tomato’s as menu stated. Chicken was dark meat with cartlidge piece in it. No flavor except bad! Even chips were stale and salsa did not taste good For almost $20 for a burrito? Not going back
