On the way to Florida me and my husband stopped and we both said to each other that was the absolute best damn BBQ! We ordered the BBQ sandwiches and this is the first place I’ve ever been where the whole time eating the bun never once got soggy and all the juice stayed on the meat! Amazing flavor and loved the seasons on the frys! Extremely clean inside and extremely friendly. Keep it up guys! Yall doing amazing and we will most definitely be back in 2 weeks when we come home!!

Chopped bbq with slaw sandwich. Excellent. Hush puppies fresh cooked. Transcendent. People. Just as sweet as pecan pie. I didn’t have pie. I’ll wait to see if they have peach pie when peaches are in season. They had some fine looking cakes, red velvet I think. I was sorely tempted but the sandwich and hush puppies filled me up.

It’s hard to find really good traditional NC style BBQ around Raleigh anymore. Don Murray’s to go in Creedmoor serves it up right! From my understanding it is owned and operated by a former employee of the long-gone original Don Murray’s on Capital Blvd in Raleigh. They are doing a great job of carrying on the tradition. I had a dinner plate, and it was excellent. I give 5 stars to the pork, slaw and collards. It was so good. I bought extra to bring home. If you love Eastern NC BBQ head to Don Murray’s to go in Creedmoor. You won’t be disappointed.

Got the family meal. BBQ, fried chicken, taters, slaw, tea, hushpuppies. It’s all very good. Sauce has a little kick to it, as it should be. Will definitely get this again.

Both the Fried Chicken and the BBQ was great! The collard greens were fresh and tasty! The potato salad was some of the best I’ve ever had, very flavorful! Great cobbler too!!!

I have never had a peice of chicken be so dry! The Harris Teeter deli chicken was better than this .The barbecue had no taste, the Brunswick stew was bland, best thing was the boiled potatoes. I literally wasted $18 bucks on this. I have been wanting to try this place since it opened. And I can say I was highly disappointed. I will not be back!

Went by today to try it out. I got the bbq sandwich with coleslaw and hush puppies and their homemade sauce. It was right on time. Haven’t had bbq that good locally in a long time.

I always like to try new eateries in the area. Went last weekend and was disappointed. The barbeque was so salty I could not eat it. Also, brunswick stew was really bad. Ordered unsweet tea and when I received it, it was sweet tea. Then had to wait for them to make unsweet tea. Slaw and hushpuppies were good but $26 (2 plates) for slaw and hushpuppies is a bit outrageous. Employees were pleasant.
