We ate here for the first time shortly before we moved out of state. It was incredible, and had us thinking about it still from across the country. We visited town a few weeks ago and stopped by for dinner. It did not disappoint. The food is cooked with such care and attention, you can taste it. The employees are very friendly, helpful and attentive. My mouth waters just thinking about the food. The steaks are cooked to perfection, nice and tenderized. The scallops are tender and fresh every time. And most recently, we tried the halibut, which was a special that day. It was flaky and delicious. I definitely recommend Mamma Mia to anyone who is interested.

The best Italian food I have ever had! We were greeted and the waitress was very friendly and helpful. The presentation of the food was just everything. The chianti wine was just divine. I ordered the half and half ravioli since I couldn’t decide which one I wanted. It was delicious! My mother ordered the chicken pasta. She loved it! Highly recommended! I will definitely be coming back again!!

Upon entering the establishment the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Definitely a cozy atmosphere that makes you feel right at home but still very rustic. My mother loves Italian and I’m trying to find a really great Italian restaurant here in Bakersfield. We had to order to go because we were short on time. Only 10 minutes from our house, I was expecting a little more. Literally, for the price, we figured the portion size was going to be bigger.

We were celebrating our anniversary so we decided to try this place out. They stated that they had outside seating so we requested that in advance. They had a table put in the waiting area in the front… not the best, but I will take it. The service was incredibly slow (it was Friday at 6:30pm), and it took forever to get drink orders. It felt like they were more of a bar than a restaurant. The tapenade appetizer was outstanding! The bruschetta had really delicious toppings but the bread was really soggy. Our entrees were delicious, but kind of pricey. I had the porcini, and my wife had the tomahawk steak. Both delicious, but altogether too expensive for the whole experience.

Horrible experience. Reserved a booth but then given a table with chairs. When I informed the waiter about our reservations, he gave us an attitude. It just went downhill from there. Didn’t receive our appetizers. Drinks were not refreshed. When we waited a while for the check, we asked an older female waitress. She replied, “It’ll come to your table.” Then rolls her eyes and throws her hands in the air. Don’t think I’m going to be back. Going to stick to Luigi’s. Better prices, better food, and most importantly better service.

Kiss the freaking owner! The best and well blended sauces in town. Olives in olive oil? That’s a plus to a great starter! I got the half and half because I needed to know what this place offered and it was not a miss, it’s a hit for a first timer, along with amazing prices for a 4 to 5 start Italian meal. I would be sad to see Bakersfield not pack this place out every night.
