I really liked this place, their food was really good, portions were generous. Our server was really nice and friendly, we arrived really early on Sunday so we didn’t have to wait to be seated. Their chicken pesto crepe was really good and my friend loved their Benedict eggs. My boyfriend liked the country fried steak but the gravy was a little bit on the runny side. I loved their tea (which was from the Peet’s coffee next door so I bought some there) and they are aware when coffee was running low so they will offer more.

I came for the Happy Hour and dined inside because of the cool windy weather. My server was very attentive, place not busy at all. My food came out quickly, nice and hot. My favorite was the sweet potato fries. I’ve been back a couple times since the initial visit and added some more pictures of my selections.

My friend and I loved TOAST! Located in Novato, CA (Marin County). It was unique and great food. The walls look like Toast. The food was great! The tables were a little small for all the plates and two people. There were pretty fountains outside with mosaic tiling. The prices seemed a little high, but maybe comparable for the area. I had Cinnamon French Toast, with Strawberries and Bacon. My friend had a Mushroom Omelet with veggies and truffle oil. Worth the trip.

My first time, it seemed half full. It took our server over 15min. to acknowledge us and get our drink order. I had the fish and chips. The fish was nice and hot and flaky. It was put on top of a pile of cold soggy fries. The fries had to be sitting out for quite a while.

The kids menu stuff was great. Pancakes and mac n cheese. BUT, the menu and website portray the brick oven pizza as a specialty. The pizza is also priced high. Very low quality so save yourself some trouble and order a classic diner item off the menu instead. Very disappointed. The pizza gods will not like this.
