Smokey flavored meats are the highlight of this small BBQ eatery. The pulled pork was cleaned well and had a great smoked flavor. The sauces one tomato and the other vinegar were ok but I enjoyed them combined. The sides I got, Mac n Cheese and Corn pudding were, in my opinion, good but not something that would bring me back. Of the two the corn pudding was my least favorite. I was expecting it to be a little sweeter. The corn bread as others have stated is sweet I liked it. The rest of my family got the brisket and couldn’t stop talking about how good it was and that it’s the best around. So give it a try if you’re in the mood for BBQ.

Very cozy little place sharing a building with Dunkn. Got the BBQ sandwich and collard greens. BBQ was moist with a good smokey flavor. Their 2 BBQ sauces, tomato and vinegar based were both good as well. The tomato base had a good sweet and smokey flavor that really paired well with the BBQ. Staff was friendly and the place was very clean.

Great pork BBQ and brisket at reasonable prices at this cozy, contemporary counter-service place. Items average around $8-10, depending on size. The smoked Gouda Mac and cheese and Corn puddin’ were really good in particular. They’ve got ribs on Wednesdays.

Went there for lunch for the first time, my mom recommend it when I was down, in the area. I ordered the brisket large plate , with banana, pudding and collards as sides. Everything was amazing. I live in Mt Holly, but now coming to the area every Tuesday and Thursday and plan to come here once a week or every other. Amazing food, will come again. Really kind and friendly staff. They close at 2pm to cook the food and prepare for the dinner shift opens at 5, when I asked.

Had a great meal at Two Sons Barbeque this evening. Food and service were great. Will definitely return. I seen some u favorable reviews but still wanted to give them a shot. Don’t always believe bad reviews give people the benefit of doubt, I did and glad I did. I got the large bbq plate with Gouda macaroni and cheese and baked bbq beans. The corn bread that came with the meal was great. Nice and sweet. This is a picture i took after i started…. Sorry I was hungry.

Visited on a Saturday at 5. We were the only dine in customers, but there were several take out orders that came in soon after they opened. Pulled pork was phenomenal. The best we’ve had in the Charlotte area. Loved the vinegar sauce. Both it and the tomato sauce were pretty sweet. I’m a vinegar sauce purist, my husband loves tomato sauce – we were both very pleased. Their cornbread is also quite sweet…actually tastes more like a yellow cake than cornbread. Mac and cheese, beans and collard greens were just fine. We loved the pork so much that we ordered more to take home with us. We will definitely be back to try the brisket!

Ordered the brisket, baked beans, coleslaw and cornbread for a small get together and we LOVED it all! Highly recommend you check them out. The owner is very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back… especially for more brisket. Very moist and tasty. Cooked to perfection

My wife and I have been several times. Sometimes we eat in, most times we pick up. Their food is very good. The employees are very nice. You can certainly tell it is a family owned and run business.

First time here and really like it! It’s a smaller place, very clean, with really fantastic bbq. The tables all have cool woodworking as well.

Ate dinner from here for the first time tonight, and it was a take-out. Had the small barbecue plate with beans and Mac-n-cheese. Barbecue was deelish!!! Not greasy at all like some places, great flavor, and very clean (I’m a little picky about the pieces of fat and gristle). Beans were really good, liked the few pintos mixed in, and the Mac-n-cheese was pretty good, as well. Cornbread was very light, almost like eating cake, and sweet. But the barbecue is what really counts, and it was on point! Portion size for the small plate was perfect. Didn’t rate any higher only because I haven’t experienced the meal and service eating there. Our new place to go for some good barbecue.
