My daughter and I used to take road trips to Greenville just to enjoy a few of the famous Bates turkey sandwiches. So we were beyond excited when they opened a local restaurant here in Montgomery, Alabama. Since they opened in April, we have been regulars here as well. We love the location of their new restaurant, as there’s plenty of room to park. There’s also plenty of tables inside and out if you prefer to dine at the restaurant. And the staff is as friendly and attentive as they are at the Greenville location. Our favorite menu item will always be their turkey sandwiches. If you haven’t tried them yet, you should soon. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Got 4 gobblers at Montgomery store. For some reason i thought it’d have stuffing or gravy but neither. Turkey was not sliced but shredded. Looked liked pulled pork. Had too much cranberry sauce as well

I have lunch here several times a week, and I’ve yet to have a bad meal! The staff is small, regular, and personable. For being a turkey-central restaurant, there is a surprising amount of variety of entrées, and the sides are all tasty, too!

I just paid 45$ for my lunch from elementary school. The turkey is not authentic turkey it’s pressed meat, smothered in what they call gravy. Understaffed and dirty tables and floor

I hope they do well but they have a very simple menu of things you can easily make at home for less. The dining area is very small and there is no table service. You order/pay at counter and then pickup food when it is ready.
