I was a 17 year old foreign exchange student in Thailand and this was the dish I ate for the first month I was there. It’s very simple – not the spicy, bursting with flavor typical Thai. Found this version to be ok. The rice needed to be infused with more chicken flavor. The sauce was good but not traditional – loved all the ginger. This location is a micro food hall so I’d be curious to try at a Rooster & Rice only restaurant as I question the ability for one kitchen to make great burgers, tacos, hot chicken, Thai food, etc. Got a side from another “restaurant” it it was terrible – all coming out of same kitchen.

I am in love with their chicken rice dish “The original”. A good combo of protein, cucumbers, and soup. Especially, the sauce makes everything much better. Very fast service! If you’re hungry at midnight and live around Mountain View or Palo Alto, highly recommend going here.

I’ve been going to several of the places localkitchens offers for years, imagine my surprise when I found all of them together in one location. Being able to mix items from diff restaurants in the same order is a game changer for me. I’ve done both pickup and delivery from here and it’s always a good experience. If there’s any difference in food quality between a standalone shop and localkitchens, I can’t tell at all.
