Delicious. Never had chicken wings like that before. The skin and seasoning are my favorite style of fried chicken. I love the Mac and cheese and collard greens. The corn bread was soft and flaky. Cannot wait to eat from here again.

Today the greens weren’t that done, a lil on the crunchy side with no flavor. The red beans n rice was over cooked with no flavor. The ribs fell off the bone delicious as usual, sauce was on point and the fried chicken was fried with love just didn’t have much seasoning. So for the price I paid, the sides could have had more soul. I will just buy the meat and make my own sides.

Best soul food places in the area! I’ve ordered catering for large groups as well and have never been disappointed. The wings are full wings and they’re awesome and you won’t go wrong with the catfish, mac-n-cheese and sweet potatoes either. The portions are very good for the price as well.

New to the area and decided to look up a Soul Food spot. We ordered a combo that included 3 wings and 2 spare ribs w/2 sides. The price was amazing and it didnt seem nearly enough for the quantity that we received. The wings were crispy and seasoned deliciously. The spare ribs were smoked and tasty. After our combo we ordered a piece of Lemon Pound Cake. OMG it was delicious! The only downside was they were out of Cherry Koolaid. I was super disappointed, but the food made up for that.

The staff was nice. I have to say i was a little disappointed in the sides. The fish was out of this world though. We tried the whiting fish. The greens didn’t have the burst of flavor i was looking for. The mac and cheese was okay. Not anything to rave about. I ended up taking my greens home to doctor them up a little. After that i ate them. I probably would go back just for the fish.

Mac and yams were pretty good. Cornbread was very crumbly, it fell apart as soon as I touched it. The collard greens were undercooked and flavorless unfortunately. The ribs were the chewiest ribs I’ve ever had, me and my son couldn’t even get a bite without feeling like we were gnawing on it. We tossed them. I personally felt like I wasted my money.
