I read a story of a guy who eats fish frys all over WI, and this was 1 of the places he recommended, so I added it to my list of places I had to try out. Well, tonight we went and I absolutely loved it here! The food was terrific, but what really sold me was the hospitality of the staff and owners. We usually go to a fantastic fish fry in Franklin, and although I love them, they are nowhere near as welcoming as everyone here at depot tavern.

Went for dinner with friends. Sliders were the special and they were pretty fantastic. It’s a small place, but service was friendly and has a welcoming feel. It’s cool that it’s right next to the tracks. I was excited because the reviews were so good and I agree, it’s a gem for Caledonia.

I’ve only been to The Depot a few times, but it’s been fantastic every time! Had the often raved-about broasted chicken dinner tonight and it was amazing, as were all the sides. Their fish fry is consistently good, too. Friendly service!

This is my favorite cod fish fry in the area! The breading is light and crispy and never greasy! And the Mac n cheese is amazing! Service has always been wonderful. Highly recommend.

Wednesdays are not too be missed! It’s slider night! And if you don’t want sliders they have fabulous broasted chicken among other menu items. You can’t go wrong. All the food is fabulous. Don’t let this little local bar/grill fool you. The food is excellent!
