What a busy, active place. There was a long line when we got there on Thursday night at 7pm. They worked through the line quickly and we were at a table in 5-10 minutes. I would say it was filled with mostly locals, who knew each other and were regulars. There were a lot of families with kids of all ages.

Don’t let the outside appearance fool you. They have great food at decent prices. The staff was friendly and service was good. Two small things brought it to a 4 star review. The soup needed salt. I know salt level is a personal preference but you have to at least begin somewhere to bring out the flavors. Once I added some salt it was good. The other thing is, the corn tortillas for the street tacos where greasy. Seemed to me the oil just wasn’t hot enough when they cooked them. But I will say the flavor was there. The salsa was tasty and I liked the fresh thin chips.

This place is everything I ever need. Free chips and salsa. Lunch specials under $10. They cover tamales in queso. Nice service. Had the lunch fajita special with a tamale passing through town. What a gem.

Wonderful wait staff was on point! Busy weeknight in house and take-away service. Steak quesadilla with sweet peppers and onions freshly made.. Small but tasty guacamole salad center. A level of quality above standard menu.
