Cavernous restaurant. Definitely captures the vibes of an Hacienda which is good. They certainly don’t make them like this anymore. I would categorize this restaurant as Tex Mex, not authentic Mexican, which to their credit the don’t claim to be. We had the fajitas which were good. The Serrano margaritas bordered on being too sweet. To me the beans tasted like the could have been from a can. They charge for chip and salsa refills. The salsa was too salty for my taste and lacked defining flavor.

Great place to go for a date night! Great service! Make a reservation tho this place is busy. The atmosphere here is good fun a and enjoyable. Locals may say it’s not busy bc they don’t see cars there when they drive by. That’s because the parking is out back and not visible from the road. The food is delicious and they collaborate with Lancaster Brewing Company to make their beer. The Peruvian Lager is excellent! Check this place out you won’t be disappointed. Cheers!

Definitely a unique dining spot for Lancaster! How embarrassing that I’ve lived here 5 years and have not been to this restaurant until last week! The food was very well made and, though the menu is not marked, the waiter was immediately knowledgeable of what dishes were gluten-free. We slid in at 4:30pm on a Saturday with no wait and was welcomed by a quiet ambiance so as to enjoy each other’s company.

My children and grandchildren took me to El Serrano for my birthday. I hadn’t been there in a while and wondered if the Chicken Fajitas were as good as I remembered. They were FANTASTIC!! We were seated in a private area which was very lovely. Everyone loved their dinners! Our waiter was delightfully friendly and so very efficient. We will definitely be back to El Serrano!

El Serrano is absolutely the best restaurant in Lancaster. The best atmosphere. The best service. The best food. The Chuletas de Puerco is the best pork anywhere not served by Mia Chiarella. This is a must go.

One of the best places to eat in Lancaster hands down. Was able to book in advance via google booking (reserved 2 days ahead on a memorial day weekend) and had no issues. Make sure to try to get reservations as dinner can be very busy there. Beautiful atmosphere. Great fajitas. Great place for an anniversary dinner or just a date night. Trust me. Go here.
