There were plenty of seating options and the atmosphere was nice. The salmon Benedict was cooked perfectly and the sauce was amazing. However, the salmon omelet didn’t have much taste. The service could have used some work, and the waitresses gave us our check when we had only been eating for 5 minutes (and we were not even close to being done with our food), which was a little weird. However, I’m giving them a pass because they looked young and were most likely from the local high school. All-in-all, I would still highly recommend checking this place out! It’s a great option for brunch in the Wallingford area! 🙂

Amazing gluten free pancakes, horrible service, and the rest of the food was meh. I’ll come back for pancakes once in awhile, better prepared for the lack of service. I wish I could review this place better because there’s so many gluten free options but the experience was really poor.

Excellent Gluten Free menus. Honest to goodness waffle and large gf breaded chicken steak. Flavors are top notch. And the coffee is great. It’s a homey neighborhood corner restaurant. Don’t let that throw you. I like it and will be crack for more. I’m posting their extensive GF menu

Julia’s deal is available at Groupon again, and I purchased three of them (maximum I could get). Great bunch times on Sunday! Food was tasty, the service was good. Our server was so attentive and kind. There are outdoor seatings so it’s very pleasant under the lovely summer weather. I had ordered, in the past, the Crab Benedict and it was so yummy! Now they don’t have it anymore, but they do make a Chicken Fried Steak Benedict. Looks super good! I love the Hobo Breakfast and Corned Beef Hash I ordered the first and second time. Good portions. Music could a a bit loud. Other than that I can’t wait for the next visit!

It’s your average locals diner. Limited menu. They do have a gluten free menu. They prefer you use the QR code at the table to access the menu, but will provide a paper copy upon request. We ate brunch there. They offered us indoor or outdoor seating. We chose indoors, so we were not in direct sun, but it was dark and hard to see. The tables and floors felt sticky and unwashed. We were seated and waited on very quickly. And the food came amazingly fast. They did mess up one order, giving a side of potatoes instead of fresh fruit. They corrected thev mistake, but it took 15 minutes to get the fruit. And, refills on our coffee and water were only offered once, and we were there a little over an hour. The prices are comparable to other local diners, and you should consider a healthy tip to keep these local folks around. Overall, it is an average place to eat. I would try it again.

Came here for a Saturday brunch with a reservation but I wouldn’t say a reservation is a must. But never a bad idea for weekend brunch right? My wife wanted the Socrates revenge and her next choice was the omelette with the salmon but the server informed that they were out of it. They mentioned that they were changing the menu so did not have too many plates available and ran out early. Anyhow, may be a reason to come back again… . She took the Denver instead which was an okay omelette. Their potatoes were okay and we both got the sourdough toast. I took the basic breakfast without the egg and substituted it with bacon. I also got the Turkey and pork sausages on the side. Quantity and quality of food was pretty good and service was super fast with easy parking right outside.

Julia’s has always been a staple restaurant for me. They never disappoint! Their eggs Benedict is pillowy, buttery, and delicious- you can’t get much better. Something about the sourdough toast is so delightful, even though it is basic. Amazing!

They do not offer easy to order vegan/gluten free options. Poor staff attitude and customer service in-person and on the phone. They gave my takeout order away to another customer, and didn’t take any accountability for it. For multiple sit down meals, the food took too long or didn’t accommodate my specific allergies that were shared with the staff upon ordering.

I took my Mom here for brunch on Mother’s Day & we both loved it! I had a reservation & we were seated promptly even tho it was extremely busy! There was live music & an upbeat, fun atmosphere! Our wait or was very attentive & even took a few pics of us (like my Mom wanted). The food was delicious & fairly priced. Their omelets & side potatoes were fantastic, & their Hollandaise sauce flew to the #1 spot on both my Mother’s & my list!!! I will definitely recommend it to others, & be returning myself whenever possible
