Waitress was nice and the sit down area was clean. I had the brisket n in my opinion it tasted like a roast with no flavor. It was tender but no flavor whatsoever. Definitely ain’t no Texas brisket. Not even any smoke flavor nor any coloring from being smoked.

Wow.. such a disappointment! I really thought I was getting Texas style bbq…. no where near any bbq. Taste more like pot roast… not even cut properly.. $20.99 a pound is ridiculous. After I ate about 2 percent of this nonsense… I simply tossed it into the trash. The best thing was the bottle of soda pop.

Well I gave it a try finally after years of passing by it. I wanted to like it since it’s been around so long and is local private owned business. That pork rib in the picture has three different colors. I had a separate piece that I ate and it was relatively fresh I would say. But that piece in the picture was from days ago. Had beans and coleslaw with it. Beans were on the sweet side so lots of brown sugar or molasses I assume. Coleslaw was a bit watery and also sweet, if it had been of a more fresh texture I couldn’t complain since I like sweet coleslaw but not with that wilted texture. People seem nice though, I understand not trying to waste food but you risk customers in the future trying to preserve a dollar today.

We were here in May 2022 and the pork BBQ sandwich was fantastic. We couldn’t wait to return. Boy o boy have things changed for the worse. Returned in May 2023 and the pork BBQ sandwich was terrible. It was dryed out chunks of pork. How disappointing.

45 minutes home just to find $50 worth of rubber in Styrofoam. Ordered 2 lbs of sliced brisket , it was cut in 4 slices. Im from texas , your sign needs to be bulldozed, the worst bbq joints in texas would be embaraced to sell that meat. They should be ashamed letting my pay 20.99 lb for that boiled brisket.
