Amazing food, portions are huge!! We had the fried pickles. My husband has 2 chilli dogs and potato salad. I had a BLT on a croissant and onion rings. So.much.bacon! Great little pub, great service( thank you Hailey!!) Awesome food!! Made a wonderful date day lunch stop!!

I’ve been twice since moving back to Blue Ridge recently. Both times on a Sunday. The onion rings are great. The mushroom Swiss burger is awesome. I like the hot dogs, but the bun is to big and bready for me. No matter, I’ll be back for more burgers and to try other items as well. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Good draft selection as well.

Solo, I sat at the bar. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak Sub. It was an ok size, the roll was thick and hearty, but it needed more cheese. The meat tasted like it had been on a dirty grill too long, and tasted burnt. Don’t get me wrong. I like a hole-in-the wall grill flavor! The best thing I can say about it, it was served hot! It comes with chips. The chips here are homemade, which is great, but they arent pub style chips, they’re so thin, they won’t hold up for the onion dip (onion dip is extra). Which is fine. The onion dip, for being homemade, isn’t good by any standard. It was creamy, but no onion flavor. I thought I would like a side salad. And I was right! The side salad was very good. Ranch dressing makes everything taste good! It was served first, and built me up to expect at minimum a good sandwich. Darn! Oh well. I expected a pub type place. Here, there is no indication this is a pub. It’s more of a strip mall diner, that has a bar. I am glad to have experienced it. Now I know where not to go. Maybe the hot dogs are good? I will find another place and take my chances there. My experience, if ya want a good side salad, this is the place. But I wouldn’t bring my friends or family here for a sandwich or “dawg”. Oh! Should have visited sooner, the prices recently increased. One Philly, side salad, two beers, $30 (before tip).

Stopped in for dinner, something different for a change, and close to home. I’ve been here many times, first time getting the hot dog, Chicago dog and Mutt dog, sweet potato tots and onion rings – everything was awesome. Those sweet potato tots are really good. Also had the trad wings. Top Dawg sauce, reminds me of a sweet bourbon sauce. Very good and perfectly cooked. Excellent meal with excellent beers from a good selection.

Great American style food nestled in a cozy spot next to the bac. Although there is limited outdoor seating, we were able to get a spot and bring our dog along for the experience.

Their quesadillas are the bomb. Food is always great when you’re seated. If you’re looking for carry out keep it simple definitely don’t get a salad! OR grab a beer or 2 and place a carry out order while you’re inside(that’s what I do and the quality is always better) 🙂

Great prices and nice portion sizes. The service was also great. The food was okay but all the fried food was too greasy for me and the fried pickles and fried boneless wings basically tasted the same. My friend enjoyed the Hawaiian Hotdog.

Atmosphere was great, service was friendy. Sesame Ginger Chicken Salad looked good and our daughter enjoyed the BBQ wings but the Cuban Sandwich was small, the homemade fries weren’t seasoned at all and the garlic wings were so salty, they were almost unedable. I was glad I only ordered a few. For the $$$ ($11 for 2 hotdogs, $1.50/wing) I was expecting a little better.

Small place with a great atmosphere! Waiters were super nice and responded to our needs in full. Food took much longer than expected to arrive at our table of 2, but the food was great! Slightly over cooked, but great. I’ll be back next time I’m in Roanoke.
