My husband and I stopped on a whim to have a meal before we return to camping. I worked in hospitality many years ago, The waitress, Barbara, was energetic and delightful. Whoever the wednesday luncheon chef was, he/she was spot on. I had a steak with onion rings and seasonal squash. It was Cooked to perfection. My spouse had Beer battered fried Haddock, served with french fries and Coleslaw. All the fried food was excellent. Not greasy or unpalatable. Cocktails were good as expected. Not heavy handed, nor lacking. We camp nearby annually and we’ll put this on our list of places to revisit. We hope to see Barbara again she was delightful.

I went at 11:30 today when they opened and ordered the Hunters Schnitzel with mashed potatoes and carrots. The pork was rubbery, dry, and barely warm, potatoes were cold, and carrot’s delicious. For $21 at lunch, I would expect a lot better. I informed my waitress and she brought me warm potatoes. Never offered to redo or offer something else. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Have to say have been a fan of the Iron Rail pub from inception. Great to see it reopened and Live entertainment to boot… the staff were very busy on arecent Saturday night but always had a smile on and great attitude… food was good as well. We will keep popping in with friends as often as possible…Keep up the good work

They microwaved a grilled cheese. How do you get it wrong that bad. The fries were dry and bland and tasted like they cooked it by putting it under a heat lamp that morning.

Ordered prime rib and 2 sides came to the table cold. Got it back and then realized it wasn’t prime like they said but a brisket type meat. It was super chewy and tough. Brought it up to the manager and he didn’t seem to care, listen or do anything about it.

TERRIBLE experience. Do not go. Had hobo nacho had maybe a tablespoon of cheese, small amount of beans and corn. Nacho STALE. Server knew this. Wood fired pizza is only pre-heated not cooked on site. Turkey tenders thin and very few. Chicken tenders looked like clam strip size. This place is super expensive. Kitchen managerdid not care. Service manager did not care.

Visited here from out of town. Food was terrible! Way over priced for what they were serving. I don’t write reviews , but had to say something about my experience here. Management feels there food is good, well they must not get out much and obviously they don’t know the business. We had stale nachos, soggy pizza, just to mention a few.

Giving 3 stars because our waitress was very friendly. We showed up at 6. By 6:45 the band started. By 6:46 we wanted to leave ! The music was SO loud we couldn’t even talk to each other at the table any longer ! This is supposed to be a restaurant, not a frat house. We won’t be back any time soon. Food was okay

I had the Roast turkey dinner special. I don’t believe it was real turkey, it flaked apart and was extremely salty, the texture was more like “a turkey like meat product”. The sides were stuffing, mashed potato, veggies, and cranberry sauce. I didn’t get my cranberry sauce. And the rest of the sides left much to be desired. We had the haddock bite appetizers and those were wonderful lightly breaded strips, very yummy. We will return to try other items, since the atmosphere was really cool and the staff was very nice and friendly.
