For it to have the title local means, southern style cooked food. To say that it has roots like something you would grow up eating is wrong. This place is terrible, if I could complain more I would, but this place ain’t worth your time or money. Burgers pink, half raw, soggiest fries in the south, and the ceiling tile has mold on it. Enough said, even if your starving and don’t care where you want to eat I would not recommend.

Not sure if the burger or chicken fingers are my favorite. But you can’t go wrong with either. The fries with special sauce too!!! One of my favorite lunch spots with a convenient location!

First time trying and I was not impressed. I’ve heard good things but unless I’m missing something there’s nothing special here. I ordered for curbside pickup and I ordered the buffalo chicken and fries. It didn’t take long to be ready I parked in the front and they came out within a few minutes which was great. Then I opened the box, it looked like it had been shaken up or dropped on the way out. The fries were cold, the chicken was soggy and the pickles were dumped upside down and spilled out and they tasted awful as if they had cinnamon on them. I was expecting it to be good and fresh because it didn’t take long from the time I ordered to the time I picked up. Not a great first impression.

My husband and I had the Yard Bird. They accommodated his dairy allergy by taking the cheese off for him. The flavors were great and I was surprised that the chicken was grilled and not fried leaving it not as crispy as I expected. I was okay with that though. The fries were good and came with a cheese sauce that I loved. The only thing I didn’t like was the chunks of chicken and sauce falling out of the bottom of my sandwich if I didn’t hold it quite right. Other than that, it was delicious and a good experience.

I don’t understand the hype. The food is outrageously expensive for mediocre taste. $70 for a family of 5 to eat a hamburger, chicken tenders, a salad, and two wraps with everyone ordering a free water cup to drink. It took 30 minutes to get food. It’s not a quick sit down and eat place like I thought. It’s also freezing cold and the people aren’t that friendly. First and last time there.

Decided to stop by for lunch. Everything sounded so good I didn’t know what choose but we ended up going for the chicken sandwich, the yardbird, a side of fries, and a vanilla milkshake.

Reading the mixed reviews for Local Roots I had to try it out for myself and give an honest review. After visiting and trying their food I walked away with mixed emotions.

The food was pretty good!! Red sauce on the kids pizza was a little different, but overall I was impressed with the meals. The food was reasonably priced. Drinks, on the other hand, were excessively marked up. Though it was nice to have a variety.

Good food with their own special take on a hamburger. Patty is moist and soft textured. I also like their chicken pita offerings. Fresh cut french fries are the real deal, enough for 2.

Incredible chicken sandwich. Had to come back with friends to share this place with them. One of the top chicken sandwiches and fries in the area.
