This place used to be AMAZING!! Came here EVERY WEEK BUT they recently got new management or something and they are headed downhill. Stopped doing military discount which is fine because honestly the food used to be worth it but then the food started lacking quality as well. Spring rolls had RAW vegetables in them, Curry had zero seasoning and fried rice lacked some serious TLC. It went from being amazing to a below average Thai place.

Visited ORF for work. Had the duck panang curry which was excellent. Also tried my co-worker’s squid stir fry and shrimp red curry. All were very good. And came with a small side salad for dinner! Wish I tried the mango sticky rice.

My favorite curry place, hands-down. The panang curry is unbeatable- if you get anything, try that. I’d been very mildly disappointed with the spice level of ‘crazy spicy’ the last few times I ordered, but! I have since discovered that if you’re really serious about wanting spice, say you want to ‘regret being alive.’ It’s perfect, its delicious, its what I’ve been looking for for a long time. The rice is always perfectly cooked, the flavor is amazing, and the employees are very kind and helpful. 10/10, I recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Our son’s favorite restaurant in Norfolk and the one we went to whenever we visited him. Every meal was delicious, produce was always super fresh, the service was always personal and friendly. Actually the young lady who served us every time is reason alone to visit this restaurant. We helped our son move yesterday and made sure to visit the Bangkok Thai Cuisine one last time on our way out. If you visit one restaurant in Norfolk, make sure it is this one, it really is a hidden gem.

Fast service, wide selection, well prepared, and reasonably priced. I was introduced to a pumpkin I’m not familiar with in my Pumpkin Curry with beef. I’m looking forward to going back. It has a diner atmosphere with restaurant quality food and wonderful service.

When I say this restaurant is the best Thai food around I mean it! I have tried hundreds of Thai shops in dozens of cities and countries and none have compared to this place! Nothing comes close for miles around! Cannot recommend enough! Ps try the green curry HOT
