This restaurant in the gulch is super cute! They had the absolute best service even though they had a lot of customers coming in they were on top of their orders! It is self seating, so you grab your own menu and order at the counter then they give you a number and then your food is brought out to you. The margaritas were superb and the tacos? Even better! It’s definitely worth a visit! (Or two.. or three)

Stopped by the Madison location for lunch today. The service was quick and the resturant was clean. I wanted to try a few of their vegetarian tacos by I felt like most of them were overpriced at $8. Nevertheless, I tried the avocado tempura taco. I also ordered a bowl sub with veggies. It was nice but could’ve used some special sauce to bring out the flavor. I will return because this location is in perfect proximity to my job.

Getting authentic, tasty, and new Mexican food in the area is difficult. Coming to Calle Taco was a sigh of relief. This place offers the community so much more than great food and drinks! So everything‘s pricey on their menu you order before you sit down almost like a fast food restaurant & nothing other than the dipping sauce had any flavor. The meat in the tacos no flavor the chips no flavor the corn tortillas weren’t warmed they were cold on our tacos. Very disappointed. I give this place a C-. Bumped into this place by accident and we decided to stop by and have some tacos. I ordered the QuesaBirria and my husband ordered the Asada. I found the tacos to be delicious or it could be the frozen margarita talking i love the size of the cuts for the asada and the flavor. The server was a little bit chatty to our liking.

This place was empty on a Saturday night, which was great since we had our loud and crazy 2 year old with us. The staff were so sweet to him! Tacos and children quesadilla were good, but the black beans and rice tasted old, like they had been just sitting in a slow cooker in the back too long. Chips were also stale. I was bummed and wouldn’t go back, but was thankful for a sweet staff.
