Food: salsa is terrible. Like it’s tomato sauce poured out of a can. Got the steak plater. Steak was great. Beans came cold and rice tasted good but felt dry and soggy. Hard to explain. They did offer to take it back and I said no. Making the service great.

Most of my order was missing. We did not receive 3 tacos, rice, beans, limes or extra tortillas. The menudo was suppose to be a large bowl. The bone you see in the picture took up most of the cup and you see the amount of soup provided. They also did not include the tortillas with the menudo or pozole. After receiving such a poorly delivered order, I read the reviews on Door Dash. It appears the issues I had are a consistent theme. I went from being excited to incredibly disappointed. I wouldn’t suggest ordering food from here. Maybe you will have better luck eating there for lunch. I ordered dinner at 7 pm and they were closed by the time I tried getting my issue resolved. Again another theme I read in their reviews.

Service was great, but if it wasn’t for my wife knowing Spanish we probably wouldn’t have been able to order. Food awesome, expensive but was worth it. Of course my daughter wanted the most expensive thing. Lol… Will be there again

the food is good but it was ice cold when i got it. Slow service apart from that they take away your tip without telling you. make sure when they ask you for the signature you stain your receipt so they don’t take away your tip.

06/21/23 Parrillada was okay. Tortillas are not homemade. Salsas are lacking in flavor and green salsa looked weird like it had cream or something in it not guacamole green just different. There were two waitresses that were attentive HOWEVER I don’t appreciate being over charged we had a parillada for 3 $55 a queso fundido $12 and 3 lemonades total of $92.02 make that amount make sense and when I went to pay all one of the waitresses (short darker tone hispanic female with bun in hair w/black shirt and jeans) said your total is $92.02 not even an itemized receipt was given. I was like okay but I didn’t question it since my husband did the ordering I later asked him and soon knew it was the incorrect amount. If she thinks that being dishonest with the customers is going to get this business somewhere then so be it…but we will not return here!!!!!

Ordered a torta de barbacoa plate with rice and beans… at first I thought the bread was a little over toasted but the bread was super old and dry! I would smash it with my fingers and it would turn into dust! I would have preferred them tell me they didn’t have bread instead of giving me old bread… I told our waitress and instead of offering something else or taking it off our check, she proceeded to say why I hadn’t said anything beforehand. not coming here again or recommending to anyone.

We went to spend the day in Amarillo from Lubbock. We went to the little amusement park and afterwards decided to get dinner before we drove back home. We Googled places and we pick this one to try. When we arrived we didn’t know what to expect. The environment of the restaurant is really relaxed, the wait staff was probably one of the best attentive, waitress we have had in a long time. We ordered the family plater and when it came out we were like WOW. So much food for the price. I would come back every time we are Amarillo. Hands down, good food, fair price and friendly staff. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.
