Wooo! Spicy but just the right amount of spicy. I heard of this place since it was close to me and I’ve wanted to try it so I did. Small little restaurant but mainly it’s made for takeout from the look of it. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly but of course the food is the most important here. I decided to try the jerk chicken dinner with a beef patty on the side. The chicken was seasoned well and the patty was the best part; soft, fluffy, and just the right amount of beef inside. The rice was great as well and the sauce they provide is nice tasting as well. The price isn’t expensive but it isn’t cheap as well. I will definitely be going back and would recommend to others.

I’ve been seeeeeeaaaarching for a good Caribbean spot in the area and I decided to try this place out after seeing it on my Eat24 app, and I was not disappointed! I ordered the Curry shrimp dinner which came with rice and peas, steamed cabbage, and plantains, and all the food was wonderfully delicious. I normally don’t review too many places, but I noticed this place didn’t have too many even though the food and service was superb, so I felt inclined to say something 🙂 I look forward to trying their breakfast dishes too.

Way too many menu options. Hence substandard flavors. Ambience, cleanliness,and presentation was good though. Would not go back. Was not wowed by the flavors. Run down had little if any coconut flavor.

Peenie Wallie’s is a Caribbean restaurant specializing in delicious food. The staff is friendly and keeps me coming back repeatedly. The interior of the restaurant is a reminder of the tropics with what looks like a bamboo porch that invites one to come in and enjoy the Caribbean.

One taste and I’m hooked. Had the Curry Goat about a week ago, meat was amazingly tender and delicious, impossibly fluffy rice, tasty patties, and that bread pudding could make a meal of it’s own. The lady behind the counter is wonderful and she tells me they have Live Reggae Music Friday nights.

The place, the food, the staff was amazing! Group of friends found this gem on the last day of our trip. Ordered escovitch snapper and it was phenomenal! We will definitely be making a trip back to Florida just to eat here!

This Jamaican Resturant is ok. The place is clean and we didn’t have any problems with the employees. We have eaten here a couple times and it’s decent compared to other restaurants we’ve tried in Palm Beach county for Jamaican food. When my husband tried to order food, everything he was asking for they stated they were out of. There rice and peas was good but the different chickens: Jerk, Curry, and Brown stew were not our favorite. A little too on the sweet side for the Brown Stew and not a lot of meat. The Curry and Jerk wasn’t too flavorful compared to others. We would try it again if we’re craving Jamaican food but other than that I think we will stick to our Fort Lauderdale spot.
