Was very disappointed in the service we received today. While the place was not empty it was certainly not jam packed with people. There were several open seats at the bar. It took at least 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. We finally were able to order drinks, we asked to see a menu and not one time did anyone take our food order. As one of the servers walked away we asked for a pretzel. We weren’t even sure if she heard us. Finally the pretzel came out, we still wanted to order lunch but after the pretzel was delivered not one time did someone come over and check on us. We had no drinks at this point so we got up to just leave money on the bar for what we received and then they finally acknowledged us to get us the bill. I would have loved to give a higher rating on the food but we were unable to get service.

Here we Go
Great food in a great up north local bar. If you have never been there, you did something wrong. If you will be in the midwest, it would be a cardinal sin if you didn’t swing through. The parking lot can accommodate most land vehicles and even some water rigs.

Love the nature viewing window. Didn’t get to see any deer this time but it was still nice. Homemade fresh cut fries were pretty good. Got cheese for the fries but I would recommend NOT using paper cups for liquid cheese.

Beautiful setting for a log cabin and restaurant tucked into the tall pine trees. Food was great. A lot of rustic charm inside. We tried the grilled chicken and Wisconsin burger. The service was super friendly and inviting. We will certainly be back.

Awesome place! Stopped by snowmobile and had a ball! Great drink options and occasional wildlife sightings from the barstool. Bar owner was very sweet also, highly recommend!!

This place is a hoot! Such an amazing ambiance inside this 100+ year old building, you’ll be stuck looking around at all the fun things inside. No shenanigans here or Linda will put you in your place 😉 Definitely a must visit if you find yourself hungry & in the area!

Made reserv(as it said on website.) Told by waitress they don’t take them. Not enough staff. Place packed. People waiting for table( only 5 tables,2 booths). Left without fish fry or any food. Seems bar was more important( and more profitable).Had been here previously a few years ago. Will try again sometime.just correct your website.
