TO LIVE AND FRY IN L.A.
In 2017, four childhood friends came up with a simple concept — take Nashville Hot Chicken and make it better than anyone else in America. With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Tried Dave’s today. They serve Crispy chicken sliders with the option of customized heat level. Got fries on the side. It was freshly made. The chicken is seasoned well. The heat level was perfect. We got the hot and medium. The service is decent. The price is reasonable for a quick meal. Do check them out.

Oh, you have to try this amazing halal hot chicken joint! Their fries with the hot sauce are a dream – I can’t get enough! The chicken tenders are fine. It’s always bustling with customers, but the service is quick. They offer different levels of spiciness – we’ve had mild, medium, and hot. The hotter ones are actually spicy, but for me, it felt like too much powder spice. Despite that, I highly recommend this place for their mild hot chicken tenders and, oh my, the fries are absolutely delicious! I know I keep saying it, but those fries with the sauce are just too good to resist.

We had heard so much about this chicken joint that we couldn’t resist and had to give it a try. The menu seemed great and simple, reminded me a bit of raising canes, but this place has it hot levels locked down! For someone who can do hot, the hot seemed pretty hot. I would stick to medium for next time. The only reason for a 4 instead of 5 star is that our food took almost 20 mins to come out. Since we did takeout the fries were soggy, but everything tasted great. Next time get medium and eat in!!

Burgers were spicy and yummy. We loved the taste . 5 star for this place. Orders are made fresh so takes time but worth the wait. Give all the staff promotion they deserve it. They do a wonderful job

I’m honestly not big on the massive chicken tenders. But my wife loves this stuff, so I tag along.

While the interior design and layout of the restaurant was fun, I was a little disappointed in the quality of the chicken for the price. This is by far one of the most expensive hot chicken restaurants I’ve been to. The flavor was not bad, but the breading kept falling off my chicken. The best part of the meal was their mac n cheese.

For our 1st time the service and hot chicken was great! Truly didn’t disappoint our fried chicken craving! Highly recommend their medium and mild (these had sweet flavor on them) for those who cannot tolerate too spicy.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this is definitely some of the best hot chicken I’ve had in Houston so far! The discount for Rice students is also a great perk. Pricing is decent and the food is delicious and fresh.

Chicken slide size was way to small.

I ordered the extra hot, which is right below the reaper sauce. The extra hot was just a hair above mild in my opinion. Other than that I would recommend this place, the chicken was cooked well and the dipping sauce is nice. I will be getting the reaper on my next visit.
