Five stars is right! The food was amazing. Prices were perfect, and service was friendly and attentive. I can’t believe I haven’t eaten here before! Portions were perfect and the presentation for the food was beautiful. I will definitely be back!

This place was absolutely amazing! Best Latino food in Pittsburgh area that we’ve tried. We had the carne asada, and corn empanadas. The carne asada was so delicious, and the empanadas had great flavor, texture. Service was also wonderful!! We will definitely be regulars at this place and highly highly recommend!!

Me and my husband (who is from Puerto Rico) are always searching for good Hispanic food,!which is hard to find. Five star opened by our house and we finally made our way down there and have been there two days in a row. The food is the freshest I have tasted in any restaurant! The flavor is perfection! On top of the food being delicious, the staff are some of the friendliest I have come across. Jessica and Evell (the owners son, I hope i got that right) we’re both so nice and welcoming! It’s called five star for a reason!!

Went at lunch time, place was empty, bonus for us. Beef and Vegetable soup, and 2 empanadas! Food was fabulous. I can’t wait to go back to try more dishes. The soup was perfect. The corn was fresh and crisp, the carrot was huge, also had a potato and sweet potato in it. Best empanadas I’ve ever had, I mixed some habenero Chile hot sauce in with the pepper, onions, and tomatoes, it was so yummy. Staff was quick and pleasant.

Took my sister to celebrate her birthday. She would make 2 trips to Honduras a year and would always talk about the food. So I was happy to find this place and take her and her husband there. They were in heaven and said it tasted very much the same and were looking forward to coming back and trying other food on the menu. I enjoyed my meal very much too, definitely will be going back.

I have eaten there several times since last September. The food is authentically Honduran! It is the best Honduran food I have had in a restaurant in the US. It is absolutely delicious. I have had a number of items on the menu, but my favourite is the Sopa de res (beef soup). The broth is delicious, and it contains a short rib of beef, cabbage, and large pieces of potato, carrot, yuca, and a piece of corn on the cob. It is served with a dish of rice to be added to the broth and tortillas. I have also had delicious baleadas. They are a large flour tortilla spread with fried beans, sour cream, scrambled eggs, avocado, and chicken or beef if one desires. Heavenly!

Great authentic food. Everything was delicious and my kids loved it so much they asked when we could go back. Good portion sizes. Lots of options.

The food was pretty good, not amazing, but palatable. There’s plenty of choices. We had the fajita, which was excellent. The tipica, which was just all right. The empanada, which was tasty but very dry. The tamale, which was abysmal. Service was comfortably slow, but there was no follow up. All food came at different times. I would suggest giving it a try, but we don’t need to go back.
