Grabbed a cheese pie and garlic knots to go — first time trying Russo’s despite living in nearby Nanuet for decades. Both the pizza and the knots were excellent. Thin crust, lots of cheese, good flavor. Garlic knots were big, tasty and came with tomato sauce and some fresh garlic/oil topping. The food here is creative, fresh, and delicious! Everything is homemade, including their sinfully tasty ice cream. When picking up our order from Russo’s, my husband mentioned we got married last week and they gave us a free container of their ice cream as a gift! They were so nice!

The food was “okay” the first visit. Today…. not even “okay”. . It was awful! I spent over $35 for 2 dinners and couldn’t even eat them….pure garlic, and I love garlic, but they used so much, you couldn’t taste ANYTHING ELSE! The eggplant parmesan wasn’t any better, it was tough! I don’t even know how you can make Tough eggplant, but they figured it out. Way too expensive for what you get.. IF you can even eat it! Last time for me.

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and really enjoyed it. It had a nice crust and great flavor. I’m glad I stopped in. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 8.3.

We came here after we saw the Facebook video of the Pizzarito and it did not dissapoint! The wait was a little long, but that’s to be expected after a video goes viral. There are a bunch of bars to grab a quick drink around while you wait!

Was curious to try a new pizza joint and a friend suggested Russo’s. I went for a slice of cheese and a slice of pepperoni. Did not disappoint! Nice sauce, nice crust, and chill people! Ran into Mike, the owner, and his brother as well. Very inviting. Looking to go back to try out their other slices soon!
