This is the best Ono Hawaiian I’ve been to. I don’t know why it has low stars, if they allow you to customize the plate unlike other Ono’s. Bruno’s service was excellent and he helped me with good intentions to give me my order how I wanted. The USC Ono is HORRIBLE compared to this one. It is always outrageously packed and I’ve received the food undercooked there. This Ono also isn’t greasy or under portioned.

Had food delivered from this location twice in the past week. Without discount, the price would be too much. If you pick up yourself and or eat in the person, the price is better than some restauranta for the portions you get. There is a lot of meat and a lot of carbs. It tastes great, cooked well, and even not warm due to being delivered, the food still tastes great. The Hawaiian BBQ Beef Musubi is great but the portion size does not have the value that a plate affords you. The best value imo is the bbq chicken plate. Most meat for the price. The bbq beef and kalbi ribs are great, you just get a bit smaller portion size. The rice is cooked well, not dry, not mushy, slightly sticky. The macaroni salad is great, little bit of carrots, not too sweet. The sauces included are great. The forks are nice and not flimsy like you get at some restaurants. The to go containers get damaged when stacked 4 high, which happened this last delivery, luckily none of the food spilled out. My co worker says the chicken katsu is amazing, I have not had the katsu from this location.

My all time favorite food I wish there were more locations. I absolutely love their katsu sauce but sometimes they forget to put it when you order delivery.

I love Ono, but I must admit the most recent batch of macaroni salad I got seemed to have far more mayo on it than normal (and normally it’s very excessive anyhow, so this was even beyond that). That said I enjoy the chicken katsu. Service is always prompt, and they have nice seating indoors and out. It can be a little loud at high traffic times, but I think that’s normal for the location. Also in walking distance for me so that’s a major plus!

I’m mad for the fact that Ono Hawaiians locations are very far out. It’s more than 2-5 miles or greater to grab the food the location used to be in East Hollywood which was the best spot to be at especially near for work & the school. Especially doing food delivery is close to $25 including tip is insane for one meal + drink. I would like Ono Hawaiian to be back closer to East Hollywood than Wilshire, Figueroa, Lankershim, Jefferson, Sepulveda, & other locations.

The food was great, but I don’t recommend drinking the coconut unless you are used to it, it upset my stomach personally

Had the Kalua Pork with Teriyaki Chicken. It came with Mac and cheese, and sticky rice. I was in heaven, taste buds really liked it. Authentic Hawaiian

Hands down, the worst kalua pork I’ve ever had. It was tough, and chewy with no flavor what so ever. It’s wasn’t even shredded, just cut into cubes. Won’t be returning.

It was decent food. Quick and there was a lot for the money I paid.
