Originally went in for a shower, which was pretty good the room they had was clean enough. On my way out I saw a picture of this crazy looking burger, and thought absolutely needs to happen. So maybe 10 minutes later I have my burger and it was huge! It was messy, it was loaded, and it was actually a really good burger. Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of this monstrosity but you’ll know it by the 3 patties they put on it.

I have to say the burgers were delicious. The flies were horrible and the store was filthy. My husband and I will never go back because of the filth. The heath department needs to write them up. This store/ restaurant is the worse pilot we’ve ever been in. I sure hope headquarters gets this review along with the India owner.

So the food is great. When you get what your actually asking for. The language barrier seems to be a problem especially when placing orders on the phone and the accuracy of what you asked for when you get there. Besides that the food is good but if they don’t get their act together on giving me my COMPLETE AND WHOLE order I will stop going.

Used to be a clean pretty lot… Now that it’s pilot the trashy idiots are already throwing bags of trash on the ground. Don’t treat this place like you do the others… Many of us local otr stop here when leaving out or coming in… We like the food… The owners worked hard to have a nice place. Pilot is only a fuel partner.

My man’s a truck driver and loves this place The food is always hot customer service is good. I got chicken tenders with two sides my man got ribs with two sides came with two drinks as well. If your a truck driver and want a nice hot cooked meal stop here you won’t regret it. There is truck parking.

Such a great group of people that always treat me with the upmost respect. The food is not only amazing it is made fresh and not like any other truck stop I’ve ever been to. If anyone on the road or simply driving home from work is looking for a great home cooked style meal then I highly recommend Southern Chef and remember to tell the cook I sent ya. He is a really great guy. Oh and did I mention they are open 24/7 so any truckers looking for a delicious pizza late in the night they make them fresh.
