From the outside it’s kinda plain. Inside it’s got a cute decore. Even the table clothe is cute. I ordered the Mar Y Tierra plate for one. It’s so good. Lots of food too. The young lady that waited on me was so nice and friendly. This is a must for anyone wanting some delicious food.

It’s a little out of the way fot people used to the usual spots in Harlingen, but I thought the seafood botana style Mar y Tiera was worth the trip. I don’t think I’ll be a regular, but the menu looked good enough that I plan on going back.

Food was very good if you like a country breakfast, which I do. Service was slow, but very nice. Owner came to table made sure we got what we needed. The grits were very runny and he replaced them right away with perfect grits. Would recommend this place and will return.
