We have had several hundred meals here during the past 18 years and never been disappointed. Compared with other restaurants in the U.S. and other countries that we know well, Kristofer’s is one of our five favorites for imaginative quality of cuisine, superb service and ambiance. There are several other Door County restaurants, a couple even more expensive, that are competitive but Kristopher’s is truly world class. Under new management during the past year but quality has not changed. Relax and enjoy.

Dined there from 2000 thru 2004 and always had the most magnificent food. Finally got back to door county in september of 2014. The most disappointing meal of my life. Wait staff friendly but poor service for fine dining. Food comparable to local diner. Found out that it was sold several years ago. Had a 100$ gift card only gave me 50$ of the value.

Easily dropped $100 on overpriced food & a great view of the harbor at sunset. Staff was friendly, but food did not deserve the prices charged. Great presentation, but next time we’ll just enjoy the sunset from across the road at the Marina & save our money.

Yes, as others say, it can be expensive, but this isn’t a casual place to take the family either. This is a place to go and get dressed nice and have a romantic dinner and enjoy some good food. Two dinners and a bottle of wine with tip was about $130. I wouldn’t make it a weekly thing, but worth it for an occasional romantic treat. I would return.

I have been to this restaurant many times, during the summer and off season. The food is consistently good and the staff is always incredibly attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is much more reserved than most other restaurants in the area. I would highly recommend a visit.
