The good: the food. The pasta dishes are authentic and were delicious and prepared well. The portions are generous. The pizza is also terrific if you love wood fired oven baked Neapolitan style. I would opt for a pasta dish next time.

Il Pizzaiolo is so good that it has inspired my profile picture! Everything here is phenomenal – the drinks, the pizza, the pasta, the dessert! I do recommend getting there early and planning ahead because they get busy quickly, as this is a very popular place!

This is the slowest and the dumbest place to eat your food at in Mount Lebanon. Chefs/cooks at this place must have gone home, because every time I order, especially, online, my orders are cooked so late that I lose any sense of time and food altogether. As far as the servers are concerned, especially, weekend servers in the bar section, they are so absolutely clueless that they can’t even determine whether your order is ready or not even though it sits right in front of them most of the time. They are very rude and arrogant too. My gosh, where on earth are this restaurant’s owners/management?! I left this restaurant and won’t be coming back unless some serious improvements are made.

Was out with colleague for dinner and he picked Italian. Staff was friendly and helpful. A lot of the options were not available due to shortages or kitchen issues. Started with the Arancini with cheese option, moved on to Bella Sofia pizza, and topped off with Cannoli and an Americano. Arancini was pretty good, pizza bread was very nice, and the Cannoli was good too. Nice atmosphere but maybe a tad bit too loud in there with almost to the point of yelling at times at full capacity. Nice experience overall.

Stopped in for margarita pizza and wedding soup. Both were very good. The $15.00 Caesar salad needs a lot of work. Lettuce, a few super thin pieces of shaved cheese and a side bowl of dressing to apply yourself? Eat ‘n Park I would expect this. “Come on, Man!”

This place is great. The food, service and ambience are awesome! My only qualm is the fact that they allow dogs on the back patio. It isn’t a brewery or a bar, it doesn’t seem appropriate to allow dogs at a nice Italian place (there was a Great Dane the one time, barking and slobbering water). It isn’t a make or break for me but I hope they disallow this.

Quite a delightful experience at this fine cuisine. First of, we were asked to wait 20-25 minutes for a table, which was not very pleasant. Although when we were finally showed to our table after the expected 25 minutes, we were pleased to have been kindly, joyfully and helpfully attended. I ordered a “prosciutto e arugula” pizza with a bottle of sparkling water, while the remainder guests at my table ordered some pasta with a cocktail, and a chicken with potatoes and sausage dish with a beer. Even though the pizza took longer than expected, I was extremely pleased with my dish it tasted great. The only thing I disliked is that they did not cut the prosciutto, instead just layed 2 slices on the pizza, while the water tasted fine. As for the pasta, I sampled it and I enjoyed it. The only issue that occurred is that they didn’t offer us the usual cheese on top of the plate, we had to ask for it which, for such a luxurious restaurant, was simple embarrassing. As for the cocktail type drink, she seemed to have enjoyed it. While the other guest with me that evening who eaten the chicken dish, I sampled it and enjoyed it, it has an exquisite taste with elements that melted in my mouth. While for the beer, he seemed to have liked it. Aside from the plates ordered that evening, all other plates appealed and looked magnificent to devour.

The food and service were excellent; however, the dining room where my party sat was so loud that we could barely hear each other in conversation. Between the multiple times dishes and flatware were dropped by staff and the terrible acoustics in the dining room, we ended our meal faster than we anticipated, so we could escape the noise.
