This was my first visit to Tellers Gallery & Bar in Columbia, MO. It was fairly busy, but seemed well staffed so service was prompt and the staff was attentive. I had the Onion Rings and Poblano Peppers appetizer and the pan grilled Ribeye Steak. The Ribeye was the special for the evening, I don’t think it is on their regular menu. The food was excellent and whiskey pours were generous. I will definitely return when I am back in the area.

Sandwiches were good and the sweet potato chips were excellent. Light and airy, almost like fried wonton instead of chips. Outdoor seating was nice. But it took an hour and a half from sitting down to paying the bill. This might sound a little snobby–we were the only people wearing business clothes (button down shirts) and presumably somewhere to go, so why was our service slower than everyone sitting around us?

We thought that the menu looked interesting but the food was only OK. Noisy at 5-6 due to bar noise. We had to wait too long for our check. Had the Jamaica chicken, too spicy, and sesame chicken. Pet peeve is women’s bathroom stall that doesn’t latch!

I’ve been to many restaurants and have spent the same amount (around 150) and have had way better service and food. Upon arrival we noticed they were quite busy, we were seated quickly by a very nice girl that allowed us to sit in the back wherever, this girl is the only reason they’re getting two stars. Our server was subpar at best, he paid more attention to all the tables around us and only stoped by 3 times with us having to flag him down within our hour and a half visit. Considering how long it was taking and how busy it was, I thought it would be pretty awesome food, boy was I wrong. I’ll just say the food is not worth the price and neither is the wait

We got seated and then had to wait about 15 minutes for our drinks because they had no clean glasses, also we never received the tea that we had ordered. After waiting another 30 minutes or so for our food. One steak was severely undercooked. It got sent back and was still not cooked to appropriate. After that they remade the plate. But everyone else had already finished their dinner. The 2nd steak was over cooked. (Medium rare/ well done) And no offer was made to remake or attempt to remedy the situation. We also ordered a salad with steak. The salad was fresh. But the steak portion was very small, and very over cooked. It looked like rubber pieces. Overall the alcohol drinks where good. Service was sub par. And the food left me hungry and wanting more.

If you’re not in a hurry this is the place for you! Amazing food, awesome atmosphere! Literally the only negative thing (that can also be a positive when you need a rest) is that you won’t get in and out quickly! But take that as a win, sit down, relax and savor those sweet potato chips!

Nice restaurant and great atmosphere. Went in on a Monday night and it was pretty busy. I just happened to order my food before 9, which I wasn’t told the Kitchen closed at 9. Food was pretty good! Nothing special about the fillet, lightly seasoned. The sides were very good! Mashed Yukon potatoes were rich and flavorful. The seasonal vegetables were savory and rich. My martini with vodka and pepperoncini juice was dry (which I like). Would stop by again

Management aware online menu is inaccurate. But instead of fixing it, they “prefer our customers come in order from the paper menu that *is* accurate.” I ordered the Cajun pasta takeout off their website menu the moment i saw crawfish! Little did i know i wouldn’t see a tail and they wouldn’t care that they duped me. Didn’t get what i ordered or paid for. Spoke with management when they arrived on Monday (4/3/23) that i found entirely unwilling to make it right. Low grade bait and switch operation. Super disappointing because the food was pretty good. I just don’t care to be cheated.
