We had an absolutely stunning meal at Kiln to celebrate our third anniversary. The service was extraordinary from start to finish, the dishes were creative and delicious. We enjoyed speaking to the chefs throughout the meal. I am so glad we found this gem before everyone else did. Feeling very lucky to have had such a beautiful dining experience.

Impeccable. Absolutely impeccable. Affordable for what it is, gorgeous space, delicious food and drink, amazing service. The non-alcoholic pairing was divine. We got the short menu, but ended up getting sat in the main dining room since they had extra space. Was definitely full, but would love to go back and try the rest of the menu since this one only left me wanting more. So many nice/cute touches, too, like a splash of bubbles to start the night, Polaroid to remember the night, and candle to relive a bit of the stunning atmosphere. 10/10 for sure.

This review is for their full tasting menu (but I will definitely come back for their shorter bar menu). Five stars across the board. Heavenly flavors, excellent service, and fun music to complement the exciting food. One of the best food experiences I’ve ever had.

If I could give Kiln 6 stars I would. This place is top notch! We went with the full tasting menu, wine pairing, spiritfree beverage pairing, and added the caviar. From start to finish, every course was divine. The service is incredible. The Kiln team thinks of everything in the front of the house, and the food experience is one-of-a-kind! We felt like family from the moment we walked in the door. The small, yet thoughtful touches include a printed menu, a polaroid, and a gifted candle. Don’t hesitate, book Kiln before everyone else does.

Had a great time celebrating our anniversary at Kiln. I was traveling for an urgent work assignment in Asia and was worried about that I couldn’t make it to the reservation. Everyone from the restaurant was so helpful and accommodating. The food was well presented and delicious, wine pairing was great, they added personal touch in the end which was very sweet! Highly recommend.

Kiln was one of the best restaurant experiences my husband and I have had to date. We chose the cheaper menu, which quite honestly over delivered at the price point.

Talk about future Michelin star and James Beard winners! It’s seriously just a matter of time. My wife and I make it a point to try a new Michelin starred restaurant with a tasting menu for special occasions. This time, it was our anniversary! Though they don’t have a Michelin star (yet!) their pedigree is unmatched! They just opened in May and we had to be one of the first people to experience the magic. The fact that they beat out all the other Michelin star restaurant options in SF says a lot! Co-owned by an Asian Woman (Heck ya!) is the cherry on top. We opted for the 18 course tasting menu and it did not disappoint! The service was on point, probably some of the best we have ever experienced even from 2-3 starred places. They were not only attentive, but great conversationalists and it didn’t feel stuffy though they were very professional! The ambiance was great, minimalist decor of white and grey that helped the colorful foods pop! All the dishes were delicious, my favorites have to be the lobster with wheat foam, the caviar add on, the goat cheese sorbet, the various goat cheese bites, and the squab. What was the most awesome part of it was they offered a non-alcoholic pairing! I don’t think anyone else offers that, a nice treat for a non drinker such as myself. Their drinks were thoughtful and well crafted! This place has my vote and can’t wait to go back again!

Best restaurant in SF right now. Excellent staff very knowledgeable, friendly, passionate. Food was delicious, sometimes surprising, sometimes elegant and always refined! Wine paring was mind-blowing, every wine/liquor felt like a discovery. Way beyond anything we were expecting.
