Wandered into town and stumbled upon this outstanding restaurant! Decided to treat myself to a hot wiener for the first time and I was absolutely blown away! Between the meat and the buns, it was an experience to remember! A few steps away you will find a quaint little spot featuring a peaceful waterfall, perfect scenery for a wiener break! I highly recommend George’s wiener!

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I had chili, fries, and a pepperoni pizza. The chili was nicely done, thick with good flavor. The fries were OK, I think the problem was they sat around waiting for all the food to come together. The pizza sat in a box on top of the ovens for 15 to 20 minutes. When I questioned the guy he gave me a look and said the pizza was fine. Maybe true for many but I have visited over 200 pizza places and know the difference between fresh and not so much. The pizza had a thick crust with no crisp to it at all. There was, in my opinion, far too much cheese on the pizza and it seriously detracted from tasting much else. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 7.1.

I’m visiting from Florida, and this is, by far, the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. The business had a very nostalgic feel to it. Small towns keeping things the way they have always been. It was awesome. The staff were super welcoming. You HAVE to try the white chowda. It was wicked good!

Amazing pizza. We drive from Worcester to come get these heavenly pies. Arguably could be top 3 best spots down the 146 corridor. I don’t know what they do to get the crust so crispy but every time I bite into a slice I grow an inch in each direction Highly recommended
