Wonderful food and hospitality. Owner personally came to our table to make sure everything was to our liking. Shrimp was great but was outdone by the scallops. Portions very generous. Deserts homemade and delicious. So good we had to go back the next night again. We tried the ribs which were great and fell off the bone. Scallops again fantastic. I was also lucky enough to sample the crab cake which left me smiling again! Do not pass this place by!

Very friendly, Great food!!! The seafood is great, but the BBQ is fabulous. Had a table to accommodate a party of 10 and the food was served very quickly. The Owner is top notch. Jimmy came out and socialized with us and made sure even the children was pleased with their meal. Thank you Jimmy Bell and staff for the great meal and experience.

You must eat here!!! We came in after a long day on the beach. Service was pretty fast and good. You could tell all the food was fresh. There was 3 of us and we split the 5 way. It was enough food for all 3 of us. I had the fried shrimp and pulled pork. Everything was phenomenal. The breading on the shrimp was just the right amount. The cocktail sauce was home made and had the perfect seasonings. The pulled pork was out of this world. I have had BBQ all over the US and this is in the top 5 I have ever had. Hush puppies were delicious as well. Nothing was frozen. The pineapple cake was even better. I live an hour away and would drive to Edisto just to eat here no problem. If you are in the area you have to try this place out!!!!

Fantastic and friendly people. Arrived a little before closing and they welcomed us with open arms. All four of us had great tasting seafood. The flounder, shrimp, scallops, and crabcake were all delicious. The owner knows the shrimping industry and he knows how to prepare seafood. Highly recommend!

Amazing! Fresh! Friendly service! The scallops were juicy. The shrimp was lightly breaded to perfection. The crab cakes were awesome. Not overloaded with breading like most restaurants do. The only thing we didn’t particularly care for was the coleslaw. We will be back for more!!!

The best ribs I’ve ever had! And the crab cakes could not have been better! We ordered three racks to bring home and not one complaint from any of the thirteen people we fed. We had one of his crab cakes two nights earlier and they melted in my mouth. I could’ve eaten 20 of them! Captain Jimmy even called us to make sure we were all happy with our dinner. What a great restaurant and owner!!!

Ribs were big juicy flavorful, scallops juicy and tender, crab cake very good, children’s fish plate was flounder and enough for an adult, oysters lightly fried and delicious, marinated veggies were different but very good, coleslaw good, very clean restaurant. Ribs get top rank.

Really great place. Family friendly, seafood restaurant located on Hwy 174 just before you get to Edisto Island. A lot of locals dine there as well as tourist. Will be under new ownership very soon. New owner seems very nice, was in the restaurant talking to people (not being boastful) talking about making some changes but keeping the same “backbone”. Not his words, but that’s the general conversation. Anyway, I think it sounds good for the “Edisto Island” area. If you are in the area it’s definitely worth stopping in and trying.

Stopped on the way back from the beach right before they closed. The owners and staff were some of the most polite & welcoming folks I’ve met in South Carolina. The food was amazing!!! Cannot recommend this place enough!
