We were pleasantly surprised by this cute newly remodeled diner that is opened 24 hours. The menu has an impressive amount of delicious choices and is also available online. My 86 year old was the winner with his French toast that had fresh homemade banana cream with fresh blueberries and strawberries. I had an Irish eggs Benedict with fruit and my husband had the cream of crab soup and a Ruben panini. We were all pleased.

This is a typical diner place that has a huge menu. You are not going to find gourmet food, so it is best to stick with the breakfast menu. I got a chicken souvlaki sandwich and the chicken was just plain Sysco style restaurant supply house food. A shame. The desserts looked great and the pastries we took home were excellent. The staff was very friendly.

They have creamed chip beef on toast and its great. Their peanut butter pancakes are another indulgence of mine. Very fluffy pancakes. Worth the drive if you aren’t local. Great service. Their bakery case will pull you in for dessert you didn’t even know you needed.

My friends and I went to Double T Diner the other day and we just did not have a good experience. From the beginning there were issues. There was a long wait before we were greeted and despite the fact that the sign outside advertises a 24 hour restaurant it was in fact closing at 10pm. When we went to give our orders I wanted one of the breakfast options but I don’t eat meat so I asked to make some substitutions to get rid of the bacon and our server immediately told us no substitutions which seemed a bit absurd to me. Then after we got our food my friend was missing part of her order but we couldn’t do anything about it because our server seemed to have disappeared. When she finally came back to our table it was to rush us into paying the bill and she got very flustered when my friend mentioned her missing items. By that point we just wanted to leave because it was clear she was being nicer and more attentive to her other tables but seemed to have an issue with us.

Food was good. The dessert had a subtle flavor but loud colors. It was kind of misleading which is why I gave it a 4 and our waitress was MIA a few times after telling us to go choose our desserts.

True gem of a diner with a bonus of a bar! We had breakfast platters and every element perfectly prepared. Coffee is great. Service was among best. Atmosphere is a tad loud due to being filled with diners but it’s typical for this type eatery.
